Those covers are badass. I’d just be too chicken to drive my ATV up on it. Hahaha

Gave her a good detail. Clay bar'd the entire truck, then a coat of wax. Trying to decide where to mount a iPad mini to take over duty as a GPS and music storage. Looking for some back window sticker's to replace my GreenBay Packer sticker's that I will be razor blading off soon.

Pissed at the Packers, or just don't like that sticker?

Also, did you not get the Entune GPS, or don't like it?

Spent 26 years active duty army, over 1/2 of my last ten years was in the Middle East. Now that the NFL is going to take money from veteran projects it supported and give it to the players for their SJW projects. I am done with the NFL. was hoping the players would come around but this is last straw. Gives me all Sunday afternoon to work on the Tundra now.
Not real impressed with the scout GPS app thru my phone. Wanted something dedicated to the truck. GPS, music, camera, games on one platform.

After about 7 months of being busy I finally decided to do some truck projects. Installed the flowmaster outlaw exhaust then cleaned her up. Cleaned up the garage enough to give it a spot before the crappy winter weather.

I haven't watched a NFL game since week 2, because of the kneeling bullshit. I had heard something about the NFL giving $89 million to them low life bastards, but I had no idea that is where it was coming from. This just totally pisses me off. I will never watch this horse shit again. It it wasn't for the men and women who have gave it all and the one that are giving it now, those son of a bitches could not make the millions they make, just to play a fucking game. Sorry for the rant, I'm done.:oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:

TBH I didn't really know anything of SDHQ or BAMF, so price was not the reason. After looking a little bit at each one of them, I'm happy with the White Knuckles. The SDHQ's look a little less strong with only 4 points of attachment to the frame, white knuckles have 6, each with 2 holes (one on side and one on bottom (drilled)). The BAMF's might have been contenders, but I'd still be waiting on them. Probably the worst part was drilling the 6 holes in the bottom of the frame. But I'm all better now. The powder coating is top notch. The shipping and packaging couldn't have been better.

I've used the spray cans before - how long does a gallon last you? I was considering going the same route this year..

Yes, it's a lanolin based product that does a great job protecting everything from the elements. I started using it several years ago when I lived in Philly (because they use a LOT of salt) and have kept using it through the years. I always apply a heavy coat when I purchase a new vehicle and just touch it up every year before winter hits. Does a great job.

A gallon will almost last me two years (also using a couple of aerosol cans for the hard to reach places) covering all three of our vehicles. The RAV4 and Corolla obviously don't take near as much product as the Tundra. The spray gun makes application much easier and quicker.

It's a great product that really protects the frame and undercarriage from salt, snow, etc. Based on Toyota's track record with frames I'm not taking any chances. I've been using it for the past 7-8 years. I always apply a heavy coat when I buy a new vehicle and then apply a light coat every fall. Here's their website:
https://www.fluid-film.com FLUID FILM® is Eureka’s own unique lanolin-based brand of corrosion preventive and lubricant, used Worldwide in a multitude of industries and applications.

I took my 2014 Tundra through the car wash today and when the blowers were drying it the left roof molding didn't come off but half of it came lose and was flapping around. So I resecured it but it doesn't look like it was glued or anything so I'll be looking at fixing it, and probably the other side, too, before going through any more car washes.

What sold me on @sdhq_offroad sliders was their front mount. As far as I know, they’re still the only sliders that attach to the cab mount at the very front of the sliders. That’s the most crucial spot as you’ll drop off a rock and right onto that spot. The SDHQ’s are also completely bolt on with no drilling. Not only for ease of installing but their mounts wrap around the frame which I think make it much stronger than drilling a bolt into the frame.

She's due for her yearly oil change/tire rotation in a few weeks and I'll ask the Toyota techs for advise. (I read on another Tundra site that the new ones have self-sticking backing so maybe they'll replace them for me.) I'm reluctant to apply any glue since I know those gutters are where you mount roof racks and other accessories.

I'm 100% with you guys on the NFL crap this year. I love my Broncos but I love my country, and the troops, more so I haven't watched any games since around week #2 as well. (I had season tickets at the Air Force Academy and they kept me busy...you can see all 6 Air Force games AND pay for parking for the entire year for what it costs to see just ONE Denver Broncos game...one place near the stadium charges $70 to park!) The commissioner needed firing 5 years ago.

What year did u read they fixed the issue? I'm pretty sure Toyota is aware of this issue but I wouldn't hold your breath for any recall and them fixing on their dime. Knock on wood mine have not come out 2016 but I did notice while up there cleaning hood that end of 1 side sat little higher. I pushed it back down and seems ok, but I'm guessing it will get worse before better. Lmk the yr u heard it fixed and how u resolve from here.

This happen to mine as well on the pass side, when the blowers dried it off. Looks like a thin piece of metal that holds it in place between the two sections broke.
