Looks like it could be mounted behind the "YO" in the center of the grille. I'm seeing a rectangle shaped piece there.

I personally love that blue Tundra, and wish I had researched a bit more before buying a few months ago.

Haha we all made mistakes. Let's not get tripped up on the little things. Appreciate the beauty. And the haters of the color until this was posted.

Great question. I asked it on another thread. Someone said their dealer was able to fit it up to work with the Pro grille. Not sure if the results were similar to factory specs.

I went to the dealership website and watched the video of the truck. They really put the Pro grille on the 2018. I’m sure they wouldn’t sell the truck without the TSS working. How did they do it?

@thomasbus337, nice. Now to figure out how they attached it. I’m going to look at mine this afternoon and see if I can mock up a way to attach it and keep it working. I have the Pro grille on order and would rather not change out the middle with my honeycomb grille

Great color. Congrats on the purchase. I like it. It’s a cross between cement and blazing blues. Let me know how it holds up against dirt and scratches. They didn’t have any of those in stock when I purchased my truck so I ended up with a white platinum.

Can’t go wrong with white. The truck I traded was a Super White Tacoma, TRD OR 4x4. White stayed cool in these Florida summers.

It’s the ash leather interior with a little dark wood grain. Not sure I got the “best” price but I got up to leave after they countered my third offer and at that point they agreed so at least I feel I battled well.

The dealer in PHX confirmed twice to me they did it and it works. I'm not a DIYer so I'm fine having them do it and it's probably still part of warranty.

I used to like doing it. Have done it once in past 15 years. Owner came from his home to shake my hand on Thanksgiving Day when i picked up the vehicle and said I was best negotiator he had seen and offered me a job. I just use my broker now. I get best price and I don't even have to step foot on a dealer lot.

Local dealer here has a Taco TRD Pro in that color on the lot. Blacked out accents. Looks really sharp on the Taco.
With all blacked out accents it would look good on a Tundra too.

Rumor is that Toyota is going to release a TSS-P friendly Pro grille... Not sure when, but I'll be first in line when they do!
