You'll get in on it next weekend in Anza!

1st pic was from Superstition (and there's a TW meet set up there 1/27-1/28)
2nd pic is Joshua Tree on Gold Crown Rd.
Both 2wd friendly, Super requiring more skinny pedal for 2wd :burnrubber:

I thought I was going to sink and get stuck for a second there

How was it out at Azusa? I've heard it's a lot of fun to watch people get stuck in the mud pit

It's a cool little park to spend a few hours. It was pretty empty when we went. We went the day after thanksgiving and I heard summer time is when the big mud boggers like to go. But it was fun to watch people cross the gatekeeper. A few people stalled out in the middle lol

Here's my last vid. Not really off roading. This was last weekend camping in Laguna Beach with the wife
Got her a drone as a anniversary gift. She's been wanting one for the longest

I'm looking at some other trails down in Anza, Lower Coyote Canyon doesn't really list any "easy" trails near it. There's one further south, Sandstone Canyon, that looks really cool!

Would you all like to just hit Lower Coyote Canyon? Or are you open to some road miles between trails to hit Sandstone Canyon? Or what's everyone feeling?
I've never been there, so also a little at a loss because I'm unfamiliar with the area. Lower Coyote is 18 miles total and while that may take a few hours I feel like we'd have the time to do another one!

There are some short trails mixed in between these two.

Also clear winner with Lower Coyote in Anza, so I'll switch the poll up to ask these questions as well.

    I'm intrigued by sandstone :annoyed:

It's already a long trek down to Anza for us northerners so I'm conflicted with multiple trails in one shot. I'm thinking keeping it simple for the first meet so we're not scaring people off.

I agree. Just trying to find the right balance, it's a long trip so I don't want you to feel like you had to drive "x" amount of time for "1/2x" dirt time.

I too am intrigued by Sandstone, looks much more scenic IMO.

Sandstone looks too unpredictable for first timers... especially 2wd. And it looks like it gets narrow in the canyon itself. Might be intimidating in a full-size.

Sandstone does look quite scenic. If you didn’t notice in this pic, that little spec is a Jeep.

Good point Joon. I think the scenic part would be great especially for the families who join. Tough to decide. I wonder how tight the trails are?
