    All need some help/opinions:

So I like the look of the Black TSS 20" wheels (yes Ultra and +50). So I have a set on the way. Currently I have 275/65R20 Michelin Defender LTX MS2 E installed on Platinum wheels (+60). 34.3" x11" according to Michelin. No rubbing with a level lift. 1.5" spacer on top of coil spring and rear blocks.

willitfit.com shows me the back side of tire should be at the same place/

Looking at 33.5" - the 285/60R20 K02 from BFG, or Duratrac as the new wheel is 9" wide. Will the BFG or Durtrac fit without needing spacers in the 285/60/20?

Could/Should I stick with the 275/65R20 at about $100 less per tire or will it look too narrow? I like the LTX defender but too highway for me.

Trying to order tires today as it is the last day where 4wheelparts pays taxes and does mount/balance for free.

If I'm reading this right, you're going from a +60 to a +50 so that should gain you 10mm on clearance. If you're going from 275 to a 285 you'll only get 5mm closer to your UCA. So you should be fine.

    Thanks,

I started there and have looked through at least 50% of the pages for answers, but I was not able to find a definitive answer as ever set up is different and going to a wider "stock" wheel with a high offset still, made me really confused. I really do not want spacers.

Yes +60 to +50 offset but also 8" wide to 9" wide. So that leaves the back of the wheel aprox .1" closer to the control arm + wider tire size. And Both tires I am looking at are going to be wider than the LTX.

I think you'll be fine with the added width. But not so sure you'll be fine with 4wp:crapstorm: And, it's the last day they pay the tax.....this week. Seems to me like I hear that pitch a lot from them.

Oh, increasing wheel size to 9". Then you will lose about 13mm but gain 10mm. Then lose about 5mm more on the tire. So that should put you about 8mm closer to the UCA than you are now.

Never bought anything from 4WP's. Good tire pricing if there is no tax and free install. Am I better off at my local Discount tire or Costco that always treat me great!

Costco won't install a tire that's more than 3% lager than stock. I see lots of good things said about DT. You can find DT on ebay and perhaps finagle a better deal. I ordered my tires on line and had 'em delivered to my house cheaper than anything in my area. Then I made 2 trips to Costco go get 'em mounted for $30. But they wouldn't physically put 'em on the truck due to their 3% rule.

Alright, went to test fit tires today. Decided on the Toyo AT II's. Xtreme

Went to test fit the 285/60R20 Fits great.

Also test fit a 295/60R20 fits good also! $180 more for the set though.

I think I am going to get the 285/60R20 for practicality purposes and get a 1.25" spacer to push them out a little more!
