This is my 5th Tundra, a 2016 limited. The first thing I absolutely had to do was lift the front end so it didn't look like a stink bug and get rid of the running boards. I put Bilstein 5100s on the front and then 295 70 18 Cooper Stt Pros shortly after. The ride quality suffered a lot with the larger tires and that got me thinking about upgrading the coil overs. ads.jpg

I've got a friend that works for Fox MTB and he got a deal on shocks for his Titan. I asked if he could get me a deal too and he said he'd ask. Well, he never did so I thought, "I'll show him." After a lot of reading and searching I decided on ADS coil overs and got 'em from Matt at MCM. At first I had Camburg ball joint UCAs but feared the BJ was limiting travel so I've since switched to Icon for their Delta Joint. I found a deal on some Fox 2.5 RR w/ dsc and put those on the rear and thought, "I'm done." Yeah right.
The red tail lights were a bit too red on the black truck so I got some Winjet, smoked black tails. I've read some mixed reviews about them since and consider myself lucky that they fit well and haven't been a problem. Then the 3rd brake light had to go. In retrospect, I wish I'd just tinted it as with the OEM you can always swap bulbs from outside w/o pulling the headliner.
Then I found a deal on a TRD dual exhaust from a member here, thanks @TRD15559. Man, he had some BA headlights, so that led to retrofits, D2s w/Panamera shrouds and an LED DRL. Then the Pro Grille became necessary and of course black bumper caps.
    IMG_20180125_125341135.jpg
At one of the Nor Cal meet and greets, I met @joonbug and @dcsleeper408 (and a bunch of other really nice guys) and that's when things went south :(. That's when All Pro sliders (purchased thru a GB here) went on, RCI skids, ARB compressor and the front bumper got replaced with an N-Fab MRDS. Since our next adventure includes some night wheeling, I bought some lights, Baja design squadrons, another GB, Rago Fab ditch brackets a holiday special w/ baja spots and a cheap 42" light bar 'cause ya gotta fill that void in the N-Fab bumper.
I also run some rear facing amber dust lights from Cali Raised that my good wheeling buddy @GodlessPro pro gave me. He also taught me the importance of these on one of our adventures merely by having and using 'em. You could say it kept me from kissing his ass. All the wiring goes thru a Blue Sea compact fuse block and there's a hidden ground bus under the driver side hood trim. All the wiring is soldered, heat shrink tubed, loomed and hidden as well as I possibly could. I also installed some puddle lights, wired to the cargo light, extra 40w flush mounted reverse lights and bed lights with a switch in the bed.
    IMG_20180109_123637_836.jpg
    IMG_20180116_095756267.jpg
Here's the wiring in as I was doing it. Note: the hood seal trim is removed. the ground bus is visible above the fuse block. The ground bus and wire will all be neatly hidden under the trim.
I recently removed the Fox rears and installed ADS bypasses, from Matt again. Both sway bars came out at the same time and aren't going back.
    IMG_20180305_174253872.jpg

I also installed the FRAC from Lou, @TundraTex , a great product and truly nice guy! I've also got a limited edition Traction control disable harness that I've yet to install, might need some hand holding for that.
Here's the mount I made for the compressor:
ARB mount.jpg Next week new wheels arrive. I don't mind the OEM TRD wheels but they require spacers for my setup and I want 2 spares. So, I found a deal on some Methods and ordered 6 wheels, 2 spares 'cause I've had the awful experience of 2 flats in the middle of nowhere Mex.

So far, the only work that I haven't done myself has been the BMC and the gusseted spindles.

Shit, I looked at POST #1, thought it was you’re first. Haha!

Sweet rig, man! I’m about to pull the plug on the RCI skid mainly for ease of oil change.

 You KNOW I've done it too... You'll love the RCI skid it also allows for lager tires w/o rub and I've bashed mine, they're still fine.

"And you may ask yourself, well How did I get here?"

Awesome stuff! Do more trail running or higher speed whoop stuff? Just curious on the disciplines people use the triple bypasses for.

Yeah ripped off the Talking Heads. I NEVER had any intention of taking things this far with this truck..... Oh well...
Here in NorCal we've got more of the technical trail stuff but we're also heading to Death Valley for several days where we can stretch our legs. "We" being the BasTRDS.
So far I've only the bypasses on the road and I'm amazed by how plush the ride is. They will a considerable improvement on technical stuff because they increased the travel significantly. And, I'm certain they're gonna make desert driving a lot smoother and more enjoyable too.

IMO, biased as it may be, I think ADS is better. When my buddy finally saw my truck I saw him look at the suspension but he didn't say anything. LOL

Yea can't knock Fox there they got the 36 sorted out it's awesome. I run a Push coil shock in the back and had my 36 upgraded by Push also that set up is so sweet. Back to your truck man looks great and sure it performs better.
