    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
How was/is the color match with their 1G3? How has it held up?

@double dee I don't think it will be. Take a cloth measuring tape to get a better idea.

@GAknight color is really good match and it has held up good so far. But do some research cause after I bought this there was a thread on here with cheaper vinyl options. I think it was the Oracal

Did it take you that long because it took a little while to get off the end caps, clean them, get the tools/gear ready then actually wrap it? I have the wrap that I ordered a little while back, just trying to find the time to get it on(kinda tough with two squirts running around on the weekend, non-ideal weather etc.). I was also quoted $250 for a local shop to wrap it for me if I provide the vinyl. I might just go that route since it will be backed with their workmanship on it.

It took me that long to just wrap it. Sad I know. Maybe you will have better luck but if I was to do it again I would pay the $250 and be done with it.

I believe this is the first video I have seen with someone doing the end caps. He talks about his ups and downs and ultimately he realized he just need to keep heating it up some and stretching it. I might give it a go in the next month or so, save some $$$.

See how frustrating that corner is. The driver side of the bumper i did pretty quick the passenger took way longer and I wanted to throw in the towel.

I forgot to ask, did you leave on the end caps or completely remove them? I was wondering if it would be easier to completely remove either the front or rear and work on those and have something hold them in place while applying the vinyl. Or if you think keeping them on the truck and removing parts/pieces around the end caps would be easier.

I bought a roll of the oracal and tried doing my rear bumper. It did not work at all for me. The previous owner also had a chrome third brake light cover so I tried wrapping that as well. The brake light didn’t turn out to bad so I have it on the truck. Wrapping is definitely a skill!

I left the caps on. I think it is easier that way since the cap is not moving. If you take it off it will be harder to manipulate the vinyl since the cap will be moving. I only removed one of the plastic caps on each side cause trying to remove the others I broke a clip and didn't want to break more.
