I got the 2 shims each side up front and +2's. I haven't installed yet though. I may exchange again pending measurements of +3's from @TRON

I got the 2 shims in front if that's what you mean? I believe they're .5" each so about 1" lift each side up front with the 1.75" in back from the +3

TRON hi. Just wondering how much higher your back sits compared to the front ? Could you measure please. Debating on +2 or +3 shackles with 2 shims up front.

For sure Ill grab my notes when I get off work in a bit, but the rear is noticeably higher showing off a true rake. Didn't think I'd like it but it does look awesome!

I was just wondering about the rear. I read that you can get either 1.5" OR 1.75" out of the +3. You answered it. I'm having mine done Sat. Wanted the 1.75" out of them.

Before measurements included the TRD Pro Suspension and 35" Toyo RTs with roughly half a tank of gas. After measurements include the Coachbuilder +3 Shackles (1.75"), and 2 (0.5") shims each side in front with alittle more than a quarter tank of gas.

Do the +3 shackles allow the Leaf springs to rub against the dual TRD exhaust?

When my rear suspension is fully extended they do make contact. Coach told me it would make contact when i purchased the lift.

I had this mediocre plan to lift/level my stock truck:
-Bilstein 5100 kit (2.5" front lift, 0" rear)
    -1" block in the rear

I was going to add a 1" block in the rear (mostly because I do tow here and there). But since @CaptTyler referred me to these shackles, I'm leaning this way.
Also, I read about the shims I could use up front, which is exactly what I was needing because I'd like to lift just a tad more than the Bilsteins allow.

    Revised plan:
-Bilstein 5100 kit (2.5" front lift, 0" rear)
-1 front shim (which should be a 1/2" lift)
    -+2” Shackles (1.25” rear lift)

This way I should be OK running 34” tires without cutting anything major to avoid rubbing.

Can somebody confirm this all makes sense?

I agree 100%. Good plan. I did just one shim on the drivers side to help with lean but one on top of each strut won't mess with your ride at all. Should be spot on!

ToyTec assembled OME front coil overs = no shims required. Shouldn't have to shim with correct setup. No lean at all. Zip. Nil. None.

I did the two shims and the +3. Looks great and is about 1" higher in the rear. Also did the steering kit. An excellent upgrade!

Here's some information from Ekstrom Design. He has a thread on this site...
"We have come up with a very heavy duty outer tie rod replacement kit. This kit is offered in 3 sizes and will cover the following applications. All applications mount to the top of the spindle except when using factory OE spindles.

Factory OE Replacement with OE spindles. (bottom mount)
CST & Maxtrac 2wd spindles (top mount)
BDS & Procomp lifts. (top mount)
    Zone 5" lift. (top mount)
    Bulletproof 6"-8" & 10"-12" lifts (top mount)

Kit uses machined 7075 Billet adapter sleeves with a black hard anodized finish.
    7/8" Cryogenically treated Heim joints.
    Stainless steel high misalignment shims.
    Tapered adapter collar (OE kits)

I have 5100's on all corners. Would +2 shackles get me to about stock rake? My truck almost sits totally level now with rear a hair higher. With CB +2's not only would it beef up the rear but tighten it up as well? Thanks for any help

I have 5100's all around also with +2 shackles. My rear is almost exactly 1" higher than front. Exactly what I was looking for.

One other question does it ride any better with the shackles. Don't get me wrong I love how my truck rides now but any Improvement on that I would love.
