Considering cranking my coils up to 3.5" up front and adding 1.75" shackles in the rear. I havent heard much about a steering kit until recently and it pretty much doubles the budget for an additional 1" of height. Thoughts? My truck is strictly a pavement queen.

Mine has 3.5 inch lift in the front (OME 614). I have a set of SPC UCAs, but I do not have a replacement steering kit. I haven't had any problems.

Messed up both BDS ends after a few hundred miles. Replaced with CB steering ends and haven't had a problem with them. Also using polyurethane rack bushings.

the sway endlink is an extended version in the pic.. for the big lift.
the tie rod end looks stock or oem replacement. you can do CB steering kit. good for moderate to big lifts depending what size.

    don't need to upgrade both.
you can remove the sway. #mpggainz

The CB kit is only for the steering ends. The other links can be removed with the sway. But, youre 7 inches in the air. I'm not sure how it will perform without it around turns.

Y’all to Coachbuilder about the steering kit he offers for your setup.
The endlink you can get away with not upgrading. You can even remove it if you want to. The truck will roll a little more on road but more benefits off road.

I think bds sells the extended sway bar end links.

Okay cool.. so basically the top part can be replaced and the one at the bottom of the truck doesn’t really need to be?

No, was talking about both steering ends, my bad. As of right now the truck is fine w/o the front sway bar and 7" lift but the Tundra is currently getting the shocks re-valved along with other work, will see if I need to put the front bar back on early May.

You don't need it and it can interfere with the spring perch if you have a lot of caster. I'm running it and it gets quite noisy when it gets dirty. I just learned today, from @1UPPER, that boots are available for the heims. I'd highly recommend the boots for you're neck of the woods. Super quality product and sure looks BA though :D

In post #5, last pic at the bottom, you circled the tie rod. Look at the wire beneath it. That wire goes to you ABS brake sensor. If a rock hits it, it can be an expensive repair. For $70 you can get cool, functional guards from SDHQ. I'd recommend them for EVERYONE, cheap insurance.
