just got my 2018 Tundra 1794 and when I put my key in it say Not Ready to Drive. Is this normal? Didn’t see it the first couple times I drove it and just got it back from a shop that did a spray in Bedliner and just noticed this. Again is this normal?

What’s the little icon where the car looks like it’s changing lanes?. Is that one of those sensor warning’s. Maybe you have a sensor out of whack.

Were you driving when you took that picture or is that just after start up?

If you have the key turned to accessory power or engine power, maybe that's what its referring to. You can't drive it yet, as you haven't turned it on.
If the message goes away after you actually start it up, then bingo.

You can also try saying some filthy words to it to turn it on... could be the new BdSM...

I have an appointment next Thursday to get a second key reprogrammed and I'll ask them if this is normal and I'll let you know.

I just checked mine a few minutes ago. I actually never noticed it until this thread. My 2018 does it when I put the key in the ignition and turn the key without actually starting the truck. Hope this helps.

It basically means the engine isn't running, hence it is not ready to drive. Nothing to worry about. My 18 does it too.

My 2019 1794 seems to have just started doing this. To add to the intrigue, the check engine light appears to be on. Yes, it's not started yet but just seems weird. Currently looking under the hood to make sure the engine is still there.

50Shades... guess I am finding out what you mean. It's a garage queen with just over 6k mileage. Has had the fuel system recall done. Curious because it just got back from a 1k trip (yes it was just over 5k) when I noticed this. And, yes, the engine appears to still be there.
