    Been a Tundra owner for a little over a year now and never thought I’d take this truck to the level it’s at, let alone supercharge it. I seriously have a mod obsession lol. Recently purchased an entire TRD SC setup slightly used and came with a few extras including a Snow methanol kit, URD pulley, catch can, Bully Dog, and unichip. I’ve already ordered AEM X series A/F with wideband and boost gauges to go with a CravenSpeed pod. Looking into upgrading the fuel pump or getting a boost a pump. I still have lots of homework before I’ll even think about installing (I’ll do the install myself.) I’ve been reading a lot of posts trying to get up to speed. Unfortunately my Tundra is a ffv which is obviously a hurdle I’m still looking into. I recently installed a TRD big brake kit, so that will be a big help with the extra power coming soon! I’ll finish this post with a few pics!

    I am curious what you used in regards to tuning. DAP doesn’t support ffv, so I’m stuck with BD or Unichip.

    One other thing i might mention, if you would like to be able to swap back to the oem intake you should buy a few feet of of different size hose, so you don't have to chop up your oem hoses.

    No Hurdle for FFV at all. you even get to save yourself a few steps. The FFV fuel pump is larger to keep up with the additional usage of E85, so no need to replace the fuel pump in the tank, it compensates just fine. No need to change the injectors out because the E85 injectors are actually larger than the ones supplied with the SC kit. You will want to scrap the Unichip and go to the Bullydog FFV set up. You will need to contact Sparks Motors to get their FFV kit which includes the tuner and all. I am not sure if they sell the fuel pump trigger separately or not. I have been SC'ed for 3 years now on my FFV and was one of the first few to do it. I would not use the undersized pulley, many issues with these engines not holding up well to overboost conditions. With the current FFV bullydog tune you are at 550hp (50 more than the TRD tune) its noticeable. Enjoy and have fun. You will eventually need to do an alcohol density reset once you have driven around with the SC for a while. You will want to keep an eye on your alcohol percent over time. The system compensates, but it does it by going rich (not a bad problem) but you will notice a reduction in gas mileage. Also the Bullydog adjusts your computer to read the correct miles per gallon. The Unichip will tell you you are manufacturing fuel by stating you are getting 19mpg which is a false read, when you hand calculate you will be getting 12.7mpg. I had a Unichip at first because BullyDog was not available at the time. I got away from the Unichip as fast as possible it is garbage.

    Dealership for the alcohol density reset? And yes i did notice my computer giving more realistic readings now. One thing i have to investigate is my bully dog is not displaying the performance test's. It maybe having the Phoenix HU sharing the OBD outlet at the same time, i just have to find more time. Lol
