I immediately installed my Truxedo Pro X15 after Amazon delivered it this afternoon. First official Tundra mod, having owned it for 4 days at this point!

Installation was pretty easy, as I installed a Truxedo Lo Pro on my Tacoma something like 4 years ago. One note - if you have the rail system, you will need some spacers to level the rail. I was planning to stack some washers together but Home Depot has chromed steel 1/4" spacers that worked perfectly! Slip them between the male bracket and the Tundra rail system, which will push the top of the male bracket outward and level out the rail.

The sun was low in the sky so the ripples look worse than they are. My guess is a day in the sun will smooth it all out. This thing looks like it's going to be as watertight as my last one was - basically 100%. Gaskets in all the right places. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

You want pics of the spacers in place? I can do that. I’ll snap a couple tomorrow.

What does it mean with track system or without?

One kit is made to work with trucks with the factory cargo rail system. One is for trucks without it.

I just bought the cheaper version made by the same people. Nice idea including a latch system in a soft rollable cover.

Here is a photo of the bracket with a 1/4” steel spaced between the bottom of the bracket and the rail.
