Got my Bilstein 6112's and 5160's installed today. Surprised the new rears don't come with new bushings, but the truck has low miles and the original were fine. Got the alignment done right after. Caster and Camber were unchanged, but the toe-out had to be adjusted. Tech had to trim off the corner of the OEM skid plate for rubbing, which is not an issue, I will probable get a pro skid plate and maybe spacers. They recommended new u-bolts and 1 inch lift block on the rear. I am not sure if that's necessary at this point, the truck is level dead on. I went with level 3--1.9 inch lift and measured 37 7/8 front and rear when I got home--floor to fender lip. I am not sure what folks here think about this setup? If the additional inch lift in the back will make a difference... they were saying that it should be slightly higher in the rear for loads. Most of my driving is in the city and I drive like a grandmother mostly in traffic when I commute a few miles to work. The most serious off road will be in northern Aroostook county on woods and logging roads... probably more here and there.
The ride feels a tad stiffer, but still smooth and great! Tech's were going on and on about how well Tundra's are built and how bad they look. I hate to have anybody touch my truck, and felt more like daddy watching the surgeon operate on his kid. I gave the mechanic and manager a tip when it was all over. You go to a restaurant or a bar and tip everybody, but never the guy who works on your car. I figure, the goodwill helps everybody and in a pinch, these guy go the extra mile.

Next up is to install hi-intensity backup lights, thanks to this tread. The housing is easy enough to take off but I had trouble removing the original bulb, so put it back. Better safe than sorry. I am looking at headache racks and leaning toward the Westin heavy duty, but would like to have some way of using and easy-on and off rear rack for when I need it. Decisions, decisions...TUNDRA ON!

I do not see why not. Mine is a 16 and I believe the taillights remained unchanged. But do not take that as gospel. I am only just getting to know these trucks.

Since the temperature today in NC dipped into the 30's, I decided my top priority before driving west needed to be seat heaters. They also feel good on my lower back all year round, so I took a couple hours before lunch and threw them into the driver and passenger seats.

Took some time this afternoon to add my dual-camera DVR system (records 1080p video out the front of the truck and from a secondary camera that you can put inside, facing backwards, etc...) the GPS antenna, and the microphone.

Also installed my Whistler XP3000i 3,000 watt power (I'll be connecting to my secondary battery when it arrives).

And last but not least, I missed my GoPro mount on my Tacoma so I installed the action camera mount that my employer manufactures under the rearview mirror.

Picked up a set of these and installed them tonight. Work great lit up my drive and garage like day.

Decided to order the pro Comp 1 inch block In the rear to complete my lift.

On another note... I am on my phone and can’t seem to find the “sightings” thread. I saw this tundra going down the highway over the weekend and snapped a couple pics. Never seen one like this before. Looked great close up!

    How hard is the install?
Do the seat covers have hog rings?

I've probably installed a thousand so I blow through them in about 30 minutes to an hour each nowadays (plus another 20-30 minutes for wiring), but the seat covering consists of hog rings on the horizontal listings and velcro on the vertical listings. I never replace the hog rings but prefer to use zip ties instead. Easier to work with.

I added 1.5” spacers to the front of my new truck today. Was gonna go with 2”, however I read that others’ trucks ended up looking nose high in many cases, even though they were level. Found a 1.5” kit by RockTrix, which came out absolutely perfect looking. Would have looked nose high with a 2”, I’m sure. Snowing in NH!!
