Hey guys, I’m new to this forum, soo don’t be harsh. Lol. I’ve had my 2015 platinum tundra for about 4 months now. And day by day I love it more. Want some opinions and ideas for the loudest and best intake and exhaust system. Let me know what you guys think.
    Thanks !

Keith can hook you up @dirtydeeds

Also a lot of members on here will tell you to save your money on a CAI, no real power gains or what not, but it's your money, I run the S&B CAI, I like it

Thanks Ramirez. I was thinking Volant intake. A buddy of mine has it on his ‘10 trd rock warrior. And it sounds insane!! Soo loud and mean. Don’t even need an exhaust with that intake. Haha

    Mike,
your in the same boat as many of us, Welcome aboard. I just bought a dirtydeeds exhaust system, I'm waiting for it to arrive.
Sense your in Cali, you wont be able to keep it smogged if you change things up to much. Like headers, they wont pass you if they see them. Yep that sucks. Keep looking for mods that make sense, like New air intake and exhaust after catbacks.
If I had the cash id supercharge mine.
    good luck. :mudding:

Thanks Ramirez! I’m not gonna go crazy. Keep it simple. Good intake , throttle body, engine tune. And a simple exhaust. Not full catback. Maybe just magnaflow mufflers. Keep it simple.

@Inquiringone Oh yeah I definitely will!! I’ll upload pictures of it and than a video of the sound. But I heard from a few buddies that did it. One had a s&b intake and the other one had an AFE intake. We dyno’d the cars before & after the intake and throttle bodies. Made a huge difference !!

I’m picking up an s&b CAI today, and I have an @dirtydeeds BAMuffler system coming in the next couple weeks.

Hit Keith up, if you want loud and still be able to smog, he can definitely make that happen. He custom makes exhausts so he can get you whatever you’re looking for!

Look into AFE, believe they have a TBS with tube n drop in filter that'll work with your OEM intake box

+40 hp , +55 torque. Once you put the tundra in tow/haul mode and accelerate, it just flys.

@TuFerLife welcome to the thread. Great! Thanks a lot for the recommendations. Can you upload a few vids when you install the intake and exhaust.

Oh yeah! I’ll see what I can get done. I’ll probably go ahead and install the CAI so I can hear the difference, then install the exhaust in a couple of weeks... it will be fun to kind of feel the differences that each mod brings.

But I definitely didn’t go with Keith’s loudest exhaust, I got small kids so didn’t want to annoy them.

I’ll definitely try and update this thread with some videos and I get these things installed.:thumbsup:

Second this. I would love to visit this guy and get a tune one day but I think he’s in Texas... so sadly it will probably just have to be a remote tune for me in the future.

Wel K&N don’t really make good and loud filters. Atleast not for JDM or Germans. For American cars yeah, they have nice strong filters. And you only had a theottle body spacer. So you wouldn’t really feel that much.

FYI....filters are not made for loudness. They are made to filter out particles you don't want getting in.
