Makes me want to learn the art of ninjutsu. Esp with that sword shifter (even more awesome if it was an actual, functional sword!)

I was thinking the same thing Law; as far as wanting it to be an actual functional (short) sword. At least it's realistic in weight. Could always hilt whip somebody.

Final mod for this weekend. Pelican foam inserts for the Kimber for traveling through those non-reciprocated states or if I have to otherwise temporarily secure her, etc.

I can tell you from experience my friend, 3rd brake light was a PITA!, but perseverance paid off
I would invest in a magnetic 10 mm socket. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks Ron! I've read a couple of reviews that, besides the PITA install, had some leak issues with the Recon. Not sure what vehicles they owned for sure though. Was weighing heavily on just smoking the OEM lense.

Yeah that was one route, but I was looking at the brightness and that the one I purchased had a black housing. As far as leaks, I put a small bead of marine rtv clear just to be reassured.

You've restored hope in the replacement yet Ron. Thanks for the tips. I'll try it out next weekend.

Ron, the Sierra's are very nice. I checked them out also, but opted for the "concaving look(?)" of the Selkirks. Bottom line is that I wanted great looking wheels at a decent price, that is different from the mainstream XDs, Fuse, etc. I think BR seems to be a good company that meets all of that, but any choice you make is what's going to be right for your baby.

One more insert for my bro's Tundra.

It's a lot cleaner than the first one I did for mine.
