Gonna be adding some of these myself in the next few weeks, does anyone know if you have to set the leveling motor inside the truck to a certain position before swapping out the headlights or does it automatically adjust the new headlights to the setting that your leveling motor is currently on?

Just leave as is and line up the beams on the lights when installed.

I haven't seen whats behind these headlights yet, are you saying I will be able to look at the old ones that come out and tell which position the new ones need to be on? I know I'm probably over-thinking it, just not sure how the motors actually work.

    You're over thinking this.
Just put the new headlights in and aim the lights if the beams are uneven.

I did have to raise mine using the off white colored adjuster on the back of the headlight housing. Before removing my SR5 lights I marked my cutoffs with my stock lights, then installed the PRO lights, with truck in same spot I checked the new cutoff, which was lower. I'll assume Toyota aims the PRO lights lower due to the lift on the PROs.

I marked where my tires were with sidewalk chalk, used masking tape on the wall in my garage for the cutoff.

Sometimes the driver's side is lower, that's for oncoming traffic, you can keep it like that if you want.

Does the TRD Pro Headlights have the LED bars in them? And if so, does that replace the Yellow DRL's

No, only 1794 and Platinum models have the LED bars.

I really like that look with the LED bars. So, are they interchangeable from the 1794 and Platinum, while still utilizing the leveling motor....

No, you can't just swap them in place of the SR5 headlights. You could make them work but you'd have to do some wiring.

Has anyone found these (trd pro) cheaper than $500 anywhere? Ive seen nice aftermarket lights for half that, but ideally i would like the level adjuster to work. Just cant justify spending $500 to get a darker tinted headlight even though i love the look.

Have you considered buying a used SR5 set and opening them up/painting them? I've opened mine up for a retrofit and I will tell you it is a pain for sure, but it's a way to save money if you need to.

No I didnt really consider that. Ive seen some people use the nightshades tint, but Im not really sure if i want to darken the actual lights. The TRD pro headlights look like they are tinted everywhere but the bulb area and appear darker around, but I havent really seen them up close in person either.

Only difference is the bezel is painted black. Lens on the Pro Lights are still clear.

Has anyone put on the JDM DEPO Diamond black aftermarket headlights? They are fairly cheap on ebay in the $200's and look really nice but I don't know anything about the brand.
