These LED rock lights are an excellent value. They're bright, compact, easy to mount and they come with rubber plates that allow them to be mounted to a variety of shaped surfaces (they flex when the supplied Allen bolts and nylock nuts are tightened.)

Customer Service is excellent: my order was missing one of the rubber mounting plates so I contacted the seller and they rush shipped out another set which arrived very quickly.

I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. I made some simple T-brackets from Home Depot into mounts for my Lexus GX470 and bolted them into the holes that were left over from removing the running boards. I was able to use the same wiring harness that I removed from the running boards and they turn on when I unlock my truck and off when either I lock the vehicle, or the courtesy light timer expires. They even fade in and out smoothly.

I am building a Lexus GX470 for off-road (lift kit, etc), and part of the project was chopping off the running boards. They each had two lights on them, on the front and back, so I kept the wiring and mounted these little LED pod lights under the body of the truck. They are sealed and well made, and were pretty simple to install and wire. The way I installed them they are not visible, but when you open the door or unlock the truck, they light up the ground with very bright white LED light. VERY cool, and very useful at night.

I also replaced all the other bulbs in the truck with white LED’s so it now has a clean modern feel.

These are highly recommended. They come well packaged and work as promised.

Installed ten of these under my '88 samurai. Does require a good amount drilling, so be prepared for where you want to locate them. Also have to have access to the backside of mounting location. Could be a two person job in certain situations. However the design is spot on and the lights are super bright. There is no wiring harness to go along with these, so prepare for needing connecting wiring and accessories. The bolts used to secure are not the longest either but were barely adequate to go through my heavy duty front bumper. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

OK, weird round shape on back, need a lot of supplies

Installed these over two day span. Just not warm enough here yet. Took our time to carefully plan. 1st, you’ll need to buy a lot of wire. I used 25 feet on the left side, about 20 in the right. Bolted to plastic liners. The lights have a convex shape on the back, I’m assuming they were made for a SXS cage mounting. Either way, you couldn’t really mount them to anything flat. Running wire took a while and quite a few zip ties. Ran wires to my accessory switches the jeep came with.
So 45 feet of 14-16 gauge wire, connectors, terminal connectors, shrink tube, wire strippers, Allan keys, 10mm wrench, electrical tape, 8mm socket, drill bits, zip ties, heat gun or lighter.
Comparing to a higher end kit for $200, that came with connectors and plenty of wire, not sure which I’d go with if I purchased again, but the $200 kits aren’t that much more money.
