Did you do the diff drop as well. 4 wheel parts was also doing a skid plate adapter kit. Anyone know what that is?

Every truck is different I was recommended not to do it unless there was vibration

I’ve had 3” spacer Kit, OME Kit, 7” BDS, and my 6112s and it’s the best I’ve owned. I’ve rode in a toytec ultimate Kit, and a 6” Pro comp with coilovers and the 6112s still rode better IMO. I haven’t rode in one with the new Toytec stuff, so I can’t comment. But I spent less than $1,000 on my 6112/5160 setup and I’d say for the price it’s hard to beat

I set mine on the top setting with shims for ~3” lift and I think they ride great. Typically the lower settings ride better. So it depends on how much height you need. I’d either do the top setting (2.5”) or the 2nd from the top setting (~1.8” I think?). I think you’ll be happy either way coming from the 5100s with stock coil springs

That’s what I have, been great and no issues in 3+ years now

The quality control is confidence inspiring. This gosh darn forum!!! :spending: Not yet, but when I do I think these will be my choice.

I am curious why they opted to go with a 2.25" rather than a 2.5" shock. I can honestly say I've not seen another. Plenty of 2.0" and 2.5" but I can't readily think of another 2.25" to compare. I could be wrong, cuz I'm a noob on shocks and such.

6112 / 5160 here and love it with 34” tires on 17” rims and no sway bars. Ride is great. Off-road is smooth and comfy with 20-22 psi.

Allegedly 6112 uses 650 lb springs, toytec alluma’s are 700lb. (This is all hearsay as I have no shock dyno in my garage)

Darren at boss off-road was great to work with and can get what you want so won’t steer you wrong.

fyi I am at 1.9 + 1 shim on each side and have no diff drop installed.
