Sounds good! When I looked at those red ones back during my shopping, it seemed as if they were only available with rotors as a kit.

Is this guy a vendor? Or, just bought some and didn’t use?

Not a vendor, private party seller. Bought and didn’t use is my best guess. He’s selling a bed rack, tonneau cover, and a bunch of other stuff.

Good stuff, appreciate the feedback. Likely gonna scoop em up, and upgrade the whole front end. Seriously considering upgrading there rear suspension as well, in order to get some towing in.

(Camper conversion underway.) Rebuilt engine w/265K miles, A.R.E. camper shell (w/cab pass-through, rooftop fan, and side windows delete), bedlinered steel ladder rack (w/wooden rooftop deck and hammock mount), all LED lights (red dash, 4" side floods, 32" rear bar), Android head unit, 1.5" lift from Bilstein 5100 struts, 32" DuraTrac tires on factory rims, 1.5" wheel spacers, Moog suspension parts, SuperSprings leaf kit, diff drop, Reese trailer brake control, GoRhino Hitch Step, debadged, F-150 rear bumper, Sequoia center console unit upgrade, partial rear bench seat delete, dashcam, aftermarket speakers, 50% sound deadening coverage, custom tools unit.
Just did mine and like Professional Hand Model said, bite that bullet and get OEM. Make sure to order the right quantity! And it'd be a good time to paint your valve covers if you're into that.

I've spent a bunch of time the last two days on the Tundra.
Yesterday, I pulled the plastic bed liner to see what was under it. 5 gallons of mulch and dirt. What the heck.
Once all that was cleaned up, I rust converted all the small nicks and rubs and then painted over with rustoleum pro. (Silver can. Dries fast and is durable.)
Bought a touch-up bottle/pen from the dealer and touched up every nick/scratch on the exterior of the truck. Rust be damned.
I pulled the tailgate and got any spots otherwise un-reachable. I also pulled the hinges off the 'gate and cleaned and painted them.
Then, I removed the 'toyota tundra' badges, the v8 from the grill, and the 'iforce v8' from the 'gate. Probably the VW kid in me that hates badges, but it looks so much better already.
No pics just yet as my Flickr is dangerously close to its cap and I'm not keen to pay for it to expand my limit. Most of my Tundra pics are on my IG.

Fun fact: I totally forgot to type out all the brake work I did also.
Parking brake levers were seized solid. It took a fair amount of Kroil, WD40, and WD40-professional lithium (wtf, wd40? Love yourself much?) combined with a liberal application of angry middle-aged man strength* to free up the arms. Once I got those suckers moving freely, I reinstalled the boots and pushed a bunch of lithium grease into the boot to stave off further oxidation. Reassembled the parking brake cables, then adjusted the cable, then adjusted the drums. That was a lot of work and a lot of rolling around on the ground. BUT holy poop. The truck brakes amazingly...and the parking brake holds fast. Today was the nicest day since I bought the truck, so I tried to make it count.

Today was Grease II, changed out the transfer case and repacked and reclamped the inner CV boots. Replaced the PCV valve and made some more adjustments to the AMP Powersteps. I'll try to get a write-up done on those in the next couple of days. No way to completely correct the jerky retraction until I get the proper brackets fabbed--simply too much play in the washer shims that I currently have.

3 week post op follow-up on the tonsillectomy tomorrow, then a road trip to have the leather seats and door panels installed!

Have always had an annoying requirement to detail my vehicles before road trips or if I know it’s going to be a long day on the road, just has to be clean. After 480 miles of driving, it still looks pretty good on the security cam rolling up from a long weekend of errands and sports tournaments.

All the work I’ve put into it over the last few months has really paid off. It’s dead quiet, outside and inside, runs like new and the ride is perfect for my taste. My wife’s GX, that cost 5 times as much, hasn’t even left the garage, this has become the daily for the family.

That escalated quickly! I just wanted to upgrade to 5100s and a Toytec 3" lift. Now there's a cv boot that needs to be replaced. and the upper ball joints haven't been enjoying life leveled. Now I have to wait until my UCAs show up to finish the job. Not happy having my truck off the road for a couple of days, but it should be worth it.

No, I just always keep them oiled. Every time I detail it I keep them lubed, so mine are in near new shape versus being dry and cracked like some I’ve seen. Noico all over the doors, rear cab, and floor helped a lot as well.

Well I went out today to install backer rod to quiet up my dash. Things did not go according to plan. Lol I found a single stick of 5 gum over my VIN plate. It had apparently been there for years. Since it was black I never noticed it. In the process of breaking it up, and vacuuming it out I split my windshield. 20200224_172411.jpg

Bummer. You should be able to access those squeaky areas real easily after they pull the window out. Use some butyl tape or Gorilla tape on the brackets along with your left over Backer Rod before they reinstall the new. Butyl Tape those A-Pillars Window Clips, as well. Doing so really quiets the wind noise blowing over those holes and will stop potential rain intrusion.

Looks like my windshield will no longer say Toyota. I'll have to get some. Working nights might make it hard to coordinate with them.

Don't feel dumb. Stuff happens. I remember watching my wife slap a mosquito on the windshield of my car, wearing a ring. Instant chip. I couldn't believe she thought was going to work well.

On the bright side of my dilemma, I could have Safelite replace my passenger window as well. A few years ago a deer side swiped me, hit my mirror, folded it in, and it basically exploded once it hit my door and window.

Left gouges in the glass. Didn't give me any issues so I left it. May as well have them do that one too.

I wouldn’t doubt if I have to reweld the spindle joint for the 4th time to try and get the sag correct with all the weight on. I will finish the jerry can mounts, fill them, and see how low it sags. I also have a 1/16” delrin spacer on the bottom of the bearing setup, so maybe I can ditch that and allow the bearing preload to open up in the spindle, giving me more droop on the far end. @KarmaKannon how easy/hard would it be to rethread a m10 u bolt, down to m8, I think it’s grade5? I ordered a longer u bolt for the closure latch but I ordered it to big diameter. I asked a buddy and he said it won’t be that easy:(

You are thinking about taking an m10 bolt down to m8? Doesn't sound fun. What exactly are you trying to do? There's probably another way to skin this gato.
