    Good Morning,
Looking to add Bilstein 6112 and 5160 with Icon UCA and Icon AAL

this is the price quote I got from auto anything. does it look good price wise?

Would you recommend the icon AAL or the coach builder Shackles?

    TIA

6112s second to the bottom setting with 1 CB shim, I got about 2.5" of front lift.
Rear shackle on the 1" setting.
    How it sits now.

Rear shackle on the 1.5" setting, it was too high.
Try to only do it once, it was a bitch moving it down.

6112 with stock shackle, damn near level.
Some the nanny systems kept going off on a fast turn, can't remember which ones.
There is a fix for that, but wanted a little rake.

    Stiff as FU(K..
    Others will disagree..

I didn't like the stock black shocks, they were like being in a boat, mine are still in my attic.
But these 6112s, I feel every bump in the road and every groove in the pavement.
Feel great on a smooth road, but I hit bad pavement or deep seams in the concrete, I can feel every bump.

I did the shim on a lower setting thinking it would help the ride, but I don't think it did.
The ride has gotten a little better over the last 4 years, but not much.
I love the lift though, so I kept them.

I don't think the stiff ride has anything to do with the 5160s.
I had rear 5100 at first, then bought the 5160s for looks, they ride the same.
