Removing cup holder/storage on front center bench seating

Does anyone know how to remove the cup holder/storage from the front center benching seating? I’m trying to remove the seat covers to replace with Katzkins leather.

You probably got that by now? Just in case... You remove all the philips screws you can find. I think there are a couple hidden under some round covers also. Most of the Tundra's we have done are buckets only. Trying to remember. Other than the screws, just get a wide flat head and pry all the plastic components up evenly. They have these metal "U" shaped clips that snap everything in.

 

I didn’t do it yet. Will work on it after Xmas. Thanks for the help. I hate those u shaped clips.

 

I'm surprised I couldn't find a DIY. I went ahead and created one since I had to do it today.

Wrong part. He is wanting cup holder/storage removal built into center seat on 2018.

Oops, my bad. Didn't realize he wanted the rear ones.

 

The center seat just comes out with 4 bolts and working on all 3 seats has to be a lot easier with the center out?

 

Are there any plastic covers that need to come off to remove the center seat?

 

I dont remember honestly but I dont think so at least on the SR that I have there is little to pretty anything in there up anywhere!

 

The plastic cup holder area will pop off with a trim tool its just held on with pressure clips similar to the dash pieces. From there you can find some screws if you need to deconstruct further. The piece around the lever that lowers the back rest is also held on with pressure clips.

 

start with the cup holder portion in the center. If you look you can see it is a seperate piece as the rest of that plastic assembly. Open the large storage compartment
and pry the plastic up from the rear. It should pop off fairly easy. Once you are inside you will be able to see how to get to the rest.

 

Got through an entire katzkin install on my 2016 fairly easy. Down to my last section and cannot seem to figure out how to remove the center cupholder area on the jumpseat. It appears the seatbelt port needs to be removed as well. Any further guidance?

 

It is just held in with pressure clips similar to the dash pieces.
