GF and I drove from Idaho to Durango to visit friends and ski.
Roughly 800 miles door to door with variable weather (snow in S. Idaho/Utah) and interstate/2lane highway driving.

The truck was very comfortable, the more time I spend driving the more I enjoy it.

Adaptive Cruise control/Lane centering: Had cruise set at 85 on interstate, and lane centering active during most of the interstate driving. I have an Audi RS5 which has same tech and that's my only baseline reference. Adaptive cruised worked great, no surprises. Lane centering, worked well, had more small steering inputs than the Audi which seems a little more refined.
Both systems went offline after about an hour of driving in snow which covered the sensors.
Once we stopped for gas I cleaned the sensors off and we had no issues (or weather) for the remainder of the trip.

Road Noise: Nothing unusual, I guess I am fortunate but there's no excessive noise from the drivers side. Even with the aggressive hybrid tires 275/60/20 cruising along at 85 it was very pleasant inside.
A note on the engine sound; I enjoy it, my audi has the same feature (which can be disabled by removing a fuse). Gimmicky, maybe, I know porsche/audi/VW use it in a number of vehicles. Not obnoxious by any means.

Power: Came from Ram 1500 Hemi, it definitely pulls harder passing in the 60-90mph range than the ram.

Downside: I averaged 14mpg. Strong believer in the faster you drive the sooner you get where you're going so I wasn't exactly babying it. The ram would've been around 17mpg. These are calculations from the vehicle computer only.

    Other observations:
Trip computer: Shows mpg/distance to empty but unless I'm missing something didn't show distance traveled which was odd. I'm sure it's there but it wasn't obvious to me.

Navigation: Had the route on the vehicle Nav initially, put the route in my iphone later in the day and once the car play connected the vehicle Nav route stopped calculating.

Cruise control: Once the sensors were snow covered the cruise wouldn't work at all... Again maybe I'm missing a work around here but that was my experience.

Overall the truck was a joy to drive. The more I drive it the more I like it.

The trip computer and mileage calculator have separate buttons to reset them. Hit and hold the ODO button, low and left of the steering wheel for the trip meter. Hit the steering wheel mounted switch for the mileage calculator.

I think these turbo engines suck gas once you are under heavy load or higher than average speeds.

I'm loving my Tundra, too. Such a nice vehicle.

OP how does the ride quality compare to the Ram you owned?

I knew it was operator error. Thanks!

Can't say for the new trucks, but on my 2019 you can hold the button to turn on cruise control without the adaptive feature. This way it will function like normal cruise if your sensor is ever out of commission. Might try it on the new truck.

Tundra is better, feels more planted/stable/solid. Ram was a 2016, 80k on the odometer and was getting a squeaky front end and an exhaust leak on the manifold. Granted, I'm in the honeymoon phase w/the Tundra.

Wife has a 20 rav4 and I hate the adaptive cruise. Found out about the press and hold function on here. And I love it now. Was abput to mention that to the o.p. but you beat me to it.

All kinds of useful tidbits and hidden methods on the forum. It's a great resource for that reason.

if you hold the cruise control button for 3-5 secs, it will turn off radar cruise control and default to dumb cruise control. this will negate the cruise control not working.

we never use radar CC in our 2018.
