I find on my homelink garage door opener I have to be right next to the garage for it to open.
My old car I could be a few houses away and would open.

Anyone else having limited range when using the garage door opener?

Range is better than my 2014 Tundra homelink, but nowhere near as good as my wife's GX460 was. I have to be within about 50' of my garage door, but I assume this could vary greatly depending on nearby interference.

Yes, I have to be substantially closer to my garage in my 22 Tundra than I did in my Titan. My driveway is hilly, with the garage at the lowest point. My Tundra will open the door from 100 feet or so, line of sight. My Titan would open the door from 300 feet, where line of sight with the garage wasn't even possible. I could open it far enough away, the door was fully opened by the time I got to it, not now. The Tundra isn't terrible, but noticably different.

Mine works 100 yards up the street. Way better than the old ones.

Curious if those that get that long range use CarPlay or not, thinking possibly WiFi interference on us "short range" guys?

22 Tundra Home-link to a Raynor Corporal II garage door opener (6yrs old), bi-direction communication. Measured my distance with google maps and it states 800ft. Pretty much line of sight, if I can see it, I can hit it from the west. With a structure in the way, it is reduced to half that coming from the east.

I use CarPlay every day. In addition I have pretty good antenna's on my Garage Door Openers. They extended them when they built my house. Makes a good bit of difference. If those antennas are all bunched up on top of the opener that can effect operation.
