So I ordered the bed step part# PTS30-34000 which included part pts30-34000-bk, and pts30-34000-st.

I opened the boxes up and I only got what you see here. I'm missing the other hardware (bolts). Does someone have the "FULL" installation directions with all pages that can share it? Also, does anyone have the sheet or know the specs of all the bolts that are needed to install? Needless to say, Toyota is not including installation directions in the boxes, and for the hardware to be missing is a huge miss.

If anyone can help provide the info - greatly appreciate it.

Esterdahl did the install. Mentions some Allen bolts that you may not have.

Thanks. I saw this several times but wanted the instructions he has. I am hopeful the specs for the bolts are on there as well.

I don't. I have never installed one. From what it seems the only difference would be the bumper designs from the two generations. It looks like the step is actually made by AMP Research. An it looks like it's the same step from the previous gen from yours. Maybe search for something on that. Here is a video I found

Thanks, I checked everything out and it's not really helpful though. You would think the instructions for the exact part wouldn't be such a mystery. I appreciate you trying to help though.

Someone out there has to have a copy.

Yeah sorry couldn't find the mystery instructions. Maybe goto a dealer near you and ask them for the instructions. Good luck and hope you find a solution soon.

    I would contact Amp Research.
They were very helpful when I contacted them about the OEM step and said it would be a few months for availability of the step.

Mine finally arrived and was missing the 2x M10 1.5 bolts for attaching the step to the sub assembly. Was able to find what I needed at THD, but still irritating to pay for overpriced parts and find them missing necessary hardware for install. That said, installed without issue and works as expected. For those needing to buy bolts, be sure to buy the correct threading (1.5).

M10 x 1.5 is the standard / most common pitch at least. If not specified that is usually what it is.
