I have a 2018 DC. I have a leveling kit on it so front sits a little higher than stock.I installed some running boards on it when i bought it new as wife is shorter and was having trouble getting in.. Now as we have gotten older its getting harder for both of us. Can anyone tell me of running boards that hang down lower than normal? I don't want to remove the level kit or lower the truck but would like to be able to get in more comfortably. Already installed grab handles which help but lower boards would be ideal. Any ideas? Suggestions? TIA

I like my NFAB steps. I have a 3/1 lift and my wife is 5' tall and has no problems getting in. I also have 3 small children and they don't have any problems either.

Amp Research builds 2 different models of powered boards for your truck. One is the "XL" that drops 3 inches lower than their standard model. As expected, they're expensive but might be an option. Also, with those who are 'vertically challenged' (Wife is 4' 10":D) it isn't as much of an issue, entering the truck as it is exiting. Ever see some of the shoes our Ladies wear?

It's hard to tell from your profile pic which bars you already have. From looking around, the Westin Pro Traxx 4" or 5" oval nerf bars appear from pictures to hang down 2-3 inches from the body. Compared to my OEM steps which hug the body fairly well, I'd say that's a pretty decent drop if you are moving away from the OEM. Outside of 2-3 inches, I think you will have to go with AMP powered steps.

Picture is from Google, not my truck.

Currenty I have APS steps from Amazon. Just too tight to the body and too high up.

As many have suggested AMP steps are going to be your lowest option. Another option that is popular as well is the RB20 drop step running boards.
Take a look through our site, if you see anything you like shoot me a PM, even if you have questions. I am able to offer forum special pricing on the majority of the products we well
Regarding AMP, we also have them in stock at the moment which has been a rarity

How far from the ground up to the bottom of the steps? And do you remember which N-FAB steps these are? They make several that look the same. TIA

15” from the ground to the bottom of the step.
The exact steps I have are nfab item # T0786CC-TX. It’s the “n-fab nerf step system” w/o bed step, textured black.
