Anyone have detailed instructions on what all needs to be removed/ loosened to swap the rear springs? Having a new set of HD dobinsons added and rear air bags. Thanks!

Attached below are the install instructions for the TRD lift. The TRD lift uses a spring spacer in the rear, but the process for getting the springs in & out is the same. The rear suspension info starts on page 42. It'll give you an idea of what needs to be disconnected or relocated to make enough room to drop the axle without stressing anything.

Also, if you're more the visual learner (like me), then you might check out this video that's been floating around. This guy gives a good walkthrough of the installation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoLNw9r-e4A

If you use a set of spring compressors I'm sure you can do it without disconnecting much. Droop the suspension and compress the spring, the combo should be enough. I used the instructions for the Firestone 4164 kit to remove the springs when I installed the bags. Pretty easy.

Awesome thanks! Going to have a shop do it, but they haven’t done any work on the 22’s yet. Putting those bags in finally (have owned them longer than the truck, but haven’t had time)

I assume you are putting in a heavier spring, I'll be curious to see if it changes the ride height in the rear.

I am, currently on Dobinsons c59-559v, 2in lift no load. With my topper and decked system I have very minor reverse rake. I have a c4 rear bumper and 35in Toyo MT on a factory 20 spare all going on so after chatting with Dobinsons I have C59-185 2-3in 220lbs 80 series coils showing up. The goal is to offset the weight and increase height by 1-1.5in. If they end up being too tall I can adjust my front coil overs up- they are set at about 2.5 in
