Starting a thread for this swap. I’ve seen in the past some others mentioning this, but it seems to have lost traction. Hopefully one of you wizards out there can figure out this swap and make a harness if needed. I just feel Toyota is so behind on certain aspects of their vehicles. Every truck in this class has a digital cluster. Unfortunately I like Toyotas. When I bought my truck hybrids weren’t available and I don’t want a hybrid. Platinums don’t come with mts/craw control and the 1794 is nice, but not an interior I can live with. Also if I went with the pro I would eventually swap out everything you pay a pro price for. So any suggestions or help on this would be great. Also anyone who can get cluster PN’s. I’ve gotten one in the past from Roman but I think it was just a filler on at the time. 431A4678-E64A-43F3-B5DE-491F9C00A7EB.jpg

Following... love the digital as well but went with a loaded SR5! Curious to see if it's a simple swap of the cluster or if more modules and such are involved!

I have done a lot of work in swapping clusters in older generations of Tundras. I just recently figured out how to swap the 2018 clusters into 2017-2014 trucks.

I briefly looked into this a few months back. From my recollection it will not be a simple plug and play swap. Toyota really stepped up the amount of ECUs and communication in the truck for 2022 which makes things like this very difficult.

I could know more if I could get my hands on a new digital cluster. So far only option is to buy new and cost to high for just testing purposes. Need more wrecked bad part out trucks so I can score one for a few hundred

Interesting, I wonder what all is different. I had assumed that with can bus everything would just work if it was supported by the truck. I would also like to know how hard it would be to install the hud.

Any update? I have a 22 Limited and I'm interested in putting a digital cluster in it. Hoping it's an easy swap.

It is not something that is a straight forward, plug-n-play swap.

I was in the same boat last year but I'm glad I got the analog it feels much more responsive and the old school light up sequence is just beautiful. If toyota added more information on the digital dash like the big 3 then it might be worth the upgrade.
