hi guys was wondering if any of you experienced this.

Just heard this annoying beeping sound while driving but when the vehicle is on stop. Beeping gone. Also this is on display on my dashboard.

need your inputs how to troubleshoot it. Thanks

Highly suspect it’s your lane departure that you have turned on. It’s the green little car in the top left corner of your screen under the ambient air temp.

I have that turned off on mine.

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 min and see what happens.

Is your hood popped? When the truck shows up on the screen like that, it is usually the result of a door being open or the hood popped. Check your hood latch.

OK. Still doesn’t totally rule that out though. Open the hood and or peak behind the grill and inspect the connector. The highlighted harness then runs up behind the latch assembly which I suspect is some kind of switch similar to the doors.

Also, make sure all your doors are all fully closed.

On mine, if I get the beeping and that view of the truck showing up on my display, the view usually shows a parking sensor illuminating, or a door/hood open, etc. I have never seen it just come up without indicating what the actual issue is. I checked the owners manual, which shows the errors that come up on the display, and there isn't one that just shows a truck without anything else.

This makes me think there is something wrong with it. Odd things pop up like this from rodent damage, bad battery, etc.

Roll forward and see what happens.

For me, the hood doesn't really show until I move, then it lights up in an orange outline and beeps at me. Took me by surprise the first time it happened.

Could be any number of things, but the dash will light up where the issue is. Is your parking assist even enabled (bottom right of steering wheel panel, P symbol, green light if on) will beep at you everytime.

Otherwise, as mentioned, the lane departure could be picking up the lines of the road. Gotta watch the dash while moving, though, so be safe.

Found the culprit. Loose connector to the latch.
Thank you all for your vital inputs

Good find. Hopefully this also helps someone else down the road with the same issue!

Glad I found this post thread. Have a recently purchased 2021 tundra had same issue. Thought a door wasn’t closed all the way then noticed hood wasnt closed when I got home after I did a second walk around later that night. Truck was previously parked for a few hrs while was out to dinner. Hood not being closed caused the beeping but now have to get wiring repaired. Some loser apparently tried to steal the battery or awful attempt to Hotwire it.
Glad I found thread though I was concerned I was having a major check engine issue. Never thought that alarm would be for a door or hood not being closed.

    have a great weekend everybody
