It was warm enough (above freezing) to install my Smart-X remote start. Super easy to install while watching the video they posted on YouTube. Works as advertised and I'm very happy with the result.

I also swapped out door handles from chrome to super white to complete the de-chroming of the platinum

Oh man, I really want one of those. My Truxedo's rear gate seal is going and I haven't been able to source a replacement, and it's funneling ice/snow down the inside-bed side of my tailgate, not ideal. Been looking hard at them. Found a deal for $1000 for the X4S, I take it that's the one you have?

Fox acoustics subwoofer box, with 2x Alpine type S 10” subwoofers. Ended up being louder than I wanted/expected, but I can always just turn the volume down. Fits like a glove in the DC upload_2022-12-29_16-9-46.jpgupload_2022-12-29_16-9-47.jpg

Klearz “smoked” 3rd brake light cover with some LED lights. Rounds out nicely with the tail lights.

Mounted my ESR wireless charger to the RAGO dash mount. I wanted something that would mount a wireless charger and maximize the MagSafe function of the new iPhones. I bought a ESR case with the ESR charger from Amazon. I figured if it wasn’t strong enough charger/magnet, I could always just return it. For it to have this magnetic strength, you will have to use an ESR case with it. I haven’t taken it off-road yet, but on road (so far), This is hands down the absolute best way to mount a wireless charger for iPhone users.

Changed the engine oil and filter. I wish I had time and clear weather to give it a good bath, however I'll take what I can get and be happy with the oil change.

I was going to install the Aries side steps I purchased, but once I got them out of the package, I was really disappointed with how cheaply made they were and how they looked.
    https://www.ariesautomotive.com/part/S2885

Hopefully I can return them and get something that both looks better and is of better quality. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

I think you were referring to my post about busting the tab/clip.

I would agree with your suggestion in general, but I live in Southern California and it was, unusually warm recently and we hit 80 F on Christmas Day!

I am going with the old plastic theory…

Once my truck hit free and clear I thought I’d do the same, but I think I am going to buy a sports car to fill that itch. ~8-10k is a big chunk

Original windshield wipers were starting to streak on my 2020 Tundra and replaced them with OEM wipers. Took advantage of free shipping and discounts currently on https://parts.toyota.com/. Part numbers for OEM windshield wipers:
    852120C030 RH Wiper Blade
    852220C030 LH Wiper Blade

Photos below show the original and new wipers.

Selecting Fred Hass Toyota World as the dealer got them for ~$21 per wiper compared to the $30 from my local dealer. Added in a new engine and cabin air filter was able to get the minimum for free shipping.

I added some traction boards and some additional diesel storage for the heater. I should be able to get about 5ish super cold full nights out of the heater now without having to get diesel.

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

You can still get the discount even if you don't have it shipped. If your local dealer participates, just pick it up. I just got air and oil filters and drain plug gaskets for both our Tundra and Venza. Cost $50 + tax, but I did have to pick it up.
