What brand inverter are you running again? Looking for a decent big boy inverter for an RV.

Yeah, that's been my first choice. Looking for a few other brands from people with experience just to compare.

I have a giandel. Works as it should. You can get a 2000w for $160 right now which is a pretty good deal. Will prowse uses them and seems happy with them.

I put a renogy in my truck but I got it for not much more than the one Cruz just linked. No idea what when the price jumped so much on it…

Still stock. I just got it to run quick peak loads and I keep in the back of my mind that I can still slay my battery even with my truck running

What's getting me is there's two 1000w Renogys on Amazon and there is almost a $50 price difference between them, and the only difference I can tell is one extra AC outlet. Neither of these have "power saving mode".

They have another 1000w single outlet on their website that does have power saving mode for $260.

Had to look up what power saving mode did. Interesting. I tend to forget to power off the inverter after using it so it gets hot after a day of wheeling with it on but with no load.

I had to look it up too. It seems useful if you do tend to forget. I have the remote switch and a plug wired to the back side of my center console though so I can turn the inverter on and off from in the driver's seat so I don't really see the use case for myself. Here's the eco mode version on Amazon:D. You can also wire in extra outlets to the terminal block just like a household circuit FYI

The cheaper one you can connect to other devices and monitor them all using the Renogy app. That the older version I think tho

Do those rattle? When I’m driving mine will vibrate/rattle, not that it’s on or anything just something flexing or loose, and bugs the shit out of me.

I hate rattles also and I have a rattle somewhere in my cab but it is not from the outlet or the switch no. They are screwed in pretty tight.

Ah, don't need the app. I never bothered getting it for the charge controller on my truck, and the inverter is going in my folks' RV.

Ooh thanks for the link. This might be the one.

Wait... Are you talking about the inverter itself? Mine is mounted in the bed so I have no idea if it rattles

    Not sure at this point.
LOL… all new parts go into the bed of the truck until a valid explanation to how we got it comes up…

I still haven’t told her about my 5 17s that I’m hiding up in my attic… and my Rago plate… and my third brake light coming in soon… although she’s been seeing all the BD lights..
    LOL
