Just wanting feedback on the Ruger LCP Max. Thinking about getting one for my daily carry. Looking for something light and easy to carry.

I currently have the Ruger Max-9 and I daily carry the Ruger SR22, but its sharp edges kinda dig a little when driving in the car too long. I don’t carry the Max-9 right now because I need to get a better holster; the clip on it isn’t tight enough unless I’m wearing a belt, which is kind of a pain in the summer.

Anyways, I’d like to know what you think of your Ruger LCP Max in .380. Thanks!

I have the older version and love it. My friend just bought the max based on the love I have for my LCP.
I have a clip mounted directly on my LCP so there is no need for a holster.

I picked one up at a Cal Ranch grand opening last November cause I got it for about $250. Since then it has become my EDC. I'm a big dude with big hands and was worried it would be a bitch to shoot, but when I took it to the range for the 1st time, I put over 100 rounds through it no problem. Shoots easy and for such a small gun fairly accurate at close range, which is exactly what it's for.
Unloaded it weighs less than my cell phone and is so small and light I just slip it in the pocket of my shorts and almost forget it's there. 380 is not the optimum round for defense, but if I can't stop the threat with 10 shots, I'm screwed anyways. I load with Hornady critical defense for carry purpose which can't hurt.

I have an original as well.
It is my most carried pistol.
Never had an issue with it.

Looks like the MAX has real sights, higher cap, and an increase in size..

I mostly carry an M&P Shield 45, but I like the LCP Max as a BU, or when lightly clothed. I however didn't care that much for the LCP Max prior to a few mods. I polished the feed ramp, and installed the MCarbo short-stroke flat trigger, and the MCarbo trigger spring kit. Both improved the trigger immensely. I also have the Hogue Handall grip sleeve made for the LCP II. It fits my hand better. Also installed TruGlo Tritium Pro sights made for the S&W 380 Bodyguard. They fit the LCP Max perfectly. I use the 12 round mags almost exclusively. For carry ammo, I'm using handloads of both Hornady 95gr XTP, and Berry's 100gr Hybrid Hollowpoints. I'm still looking for a crossdraw holster that I like.

I gave up on caliber size after watching this video. The best info is at 5:00. Basically anything under 2200fps velocity isn’t deadly and to just shoot with whatever caliber you like to shoot with.
The knowledge in this video is worth about $10,000

I've that same model, it's FANTASTIC! Ruger is the best sub-compact for my gigantic dick beaters, mostly on a belt since it simply vanishes, great for pockets also, is a little thick being double stacked, not bad at all! Thank god for the striker fire system, the older hammer fired, RUINED a glorious design. Pie plate accuracy at 10 yards for me. You'll love it!

Ok I bought it, some extra 10-rounders and some federal premium. Went through Buds. Also gonna go with Vedder holsters.

LCP Max is hammer fired, not striker.

I have one, carry it more than anything else since you can clip it into gym shorts or anything else and it doesn't weigh enough to require a belt and is nearly impossible to see. I hate shooting it, but for the size and capacity it's next level. Makes a P365 seem huge.
