So the important part of buying a pump for inflatables is that they need to do high volume at first, then switch to high pressure once the board is mostly inflated.

A lot of pumps & inflators are either one or the other but not both.

We got this one for our Costco inflatables, which are mainly just for when friends want to come with us or for travel. (Hard to secure my 14'er and my wifes 12' 6" if we're camping) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0861Q5X7M?ie=UTF8

I have a 14' Jimmy Lewis "Stiletto" touring/semi-race board that will glide for miles but is reasonably stable. At 28" wide it's not gonna' win any races but a decent paddler could stay in the pack.
It's pretty good in the ocean too, it's got some rocker and is a bit rolled on the bottom to let shop, waves etc. roll under you but then it's got good "secondary stability" to catch you from tipping after it rolls over to let swells go by. You just gotta' stay relaxed and trust it.
I have actually caught and ridden waves on it around La Jolla Cove area... It don't turn like my 5' 10" surfboard, but you can surf it!:rolleyes:
I'm not a racer, I like to strap a little cooler, a rubber duck, and waterproof BT speaker on it and put in 4 or 5 miles around the bay.

    Wife has a 12' 6" X 33" Boga "El Tiburon"
It's super flat, no rocker and very flat bottom. It doesn't like the ocean... currents and swells/side waves tend to grab hold of it, but it's rock solid steady in flat water and glides "okay".

9' 0" Coreban for surfing, whcih I don't do much 'cuz I'd rather just surf, but it's fun to paddle the cove and then ride some waves on the way in.

Two 11' Body Glove Costco inflatables which actually work surprisingly well.

I rigged up some kayak pulley/hoists to store the big boards on my patio.

These Aqua plus iSUPs have been great. 11 footers. About $170-225 depending on sales. Dogs love them too. Stand up well to paws.

    Awwwww!!

I really wanted a paddleboarding pooch... We recently adopted what may be the only Black Lab on the planet that doesn't like water. :(
