Here's my take on a fast wireless charger install. I wanted to retain use of the 12v socket above the radio, have dual true 15W fast charging, avoid tapping into factory harnesses and/or soldering, and have the wires as hidden as possible. I like these chargers since they don't have any branding showing on the front for an almost-stock look.

I ran the wires to the fuse box under the glove box. I followed the dash disassembly in this post and the video linked there. I only had to remove parts A, B, C, G, and the small panel to the left of the glove box (shown in the video) which took under a half hour, being very careful. I used a Dremel to carve out a couple grooves for the wires in the top of the panel that the chargers are mounted to so that the wires don't get pinched. Mounted the charging pads using some 3M VHB tape.

I used a fuse tap to tap into USB No.1. Pictured is another fuse tap on USB No.2. I already had in there for an aftermarket dashcam. Both are only powered when the truck is on. I probably could've combined them but didn't need to. Maybe will have to for future projects :)

    Here's the parts I used:
Ultra-Slim Wireless Charger, 15W Maximum Fast Wireless Charging Pad Compatible with iPhone 14/13/12/11, for Samsung Galaxy S21/S20/S10/S9/S8/Note20/10/9/8,Google Pixel(No AC Adapter)
    Brand: YANGYANG

60W USB C Car Charger, 2 Pack AILKIN USB C Cigarette Lighter Adapter Fast Charging Dual Port PD3.0 Type C Car Charger Plug Compatible with iPhone 14 13 12 11 Pro Max Mini XR Galaxy S22/21 Google Pixel

Car Cigarette Lighter with Fuse,Jtron 1set 1m Car Cigarette Lighter Adapter Add-a-Circuit TAP Adapter Lead 1.0mm Cable with 12V Fuse Holder for Micro/Mini/Standard ATM APM Blade Fuses (Mini)

Using this setup, I should be able to upgrade/replace the charging pads and charging plug pretty easily if (when) something faster than 15W wireless charging comes out.

My 12v cig lighter is rated at 35w pd and when I charge with my MagSafe puck it just holds the charge but never increasing in battery life. What gives?

Does the fast wireless work with phone cases. I know some cases I have in the past really slow it down.

The OEM one is a total waste. I was talking about the one you installed?

Side note, really like that you put 2 in. If you have 2 phones charging at once, do they stay in place or move around while driving?

No issues with connectivity and both my wife and I have average size cases on our phones. If I really try to take a sharp corner I can get them to move but hasn't been an issue in daily driving. Only issue so far has been sometimes if I keep the key fob in the same area the truck will say "Key not detected" until I move it somewhere else

No issues with the cases we have on, still shows fast wireless charging on the phones. They're not super thick cases but I'd say pretty average
