I'm on a 2 day business trip and got a 23 VW Arteon R for a rental reserved Economy, got upgraded a full size foe free99.... Gotta admit I kinda like this ride. Bucket seats, and massive rear seats makes it real comfortable and interesting to drive around town. The only thing that I dislike so far is not charging on a 12v charger maybe electrical, so I'm charging on their wireless pad and it's slow and the start-stop feature gets annoying

I'm glad our Pilot has a button to disable the start/stop system.

Arteons are a half-step away from being Audis…very nice cars.

Monday night there was a heavy storm and it was hot as hell Tuesday sent the driver assist mode insane, just kept complaining about the driver assist was not available. Just kept cycling on and off every time a car got near the blind side. I would agree it's a step away from an Audi, minus some options here and there. Leather seats were hot AF. Really liked the panorama roof, all my cars are old and all I got is a moonroof. Back seat was huge and comfortable, reminded me of the 2nd gen Crewmax, probably can tap dance back there. Bucket seats were comfortable and cradling, very much like the Mark V Supra.

Turns out I mixed up "Arteron" and "Atlas" in my mind.

    No cooled seats?

My Wifes Tiguan has that start/stop. There is a button to turn it off, but you have to press it every trip, there's no disable I know of. Every time I hear that thing stop/start I think about the batteries and starter replacements in my future.

Really good, turbo lag was most notable, via acceleration surge

Edit: DSG was nice and crisp, downshifting was probably a little laggy, then again the computer decides when. I got to 90 for a brief moment, seemed seamless shifting through 4th, jumped to 5th and 6th just lower RPMs, but felt really fun.
