Back in the aughts, there was a thing like that that did catch on, though totally negative: the fuH2.com site. When you saw a Hummer H2, you were supposed to go up to it and have someone film you flipping the bird. I think I saw it 5 years ago and no one had sent in pics for years, H-2s being out of production, but there were 5,274 pics sent in.

Back in my TJ days (before the JK was even a thought) to be accepted into the Jeep community was special. You had to know the rules, and generally some good natured hazing was involved. Still, the MB guys wouldn't wave at the CJ guys, the CJ guys wouldn't wave at the TJ guys, and nobody waved at those bastard spawns of satan YJ guys. :rofl:You had to know where you stood in the pecking order based on model, year, and mods. Woe be unto he who failed to show proper respect to a superior rig.

The "LJ" was the beginning of the end. Shortly after that the 4door abomination with the mini-van v6 happened. Then the ghetto queens and soccer moms took over the whole Jeep scene. It'll never be what it once was.

I owned a YJ. I liked it. It was simple. Worked great. Tons of fun. No frills, manual everything. And I actually liked the square headlights. Cherokee sport blue. Cool color.
