Added the Beat Sonic plug and play mini amp to the average sounding JBL system.
This thing does not disappoint and a truly simple install. Sound is so much crisper and the bass thumps pretty good and now I don’t need to crank the volume to 55!
Thanks to all on the forum for their recommendations.Easily the most bang for the buck I have spent on a mod so far and Beat Sonic had a 15% off cyber sale to boot!

Took her work yesterday. Loaded down with tools and materials. Was a little disappointed with the reduced size of pretty much everything inside and out. The rest of the ride was great. Went Christmas tree hunting in the mountains today. Tested out the new off road features and was very impressed. Seemed to lack a little suspension travel but everything else was awesome!

Almost forgot I turned off the world’s most obnoxious seatbelt chime with Carista. Does anyone know if they work for multiple vehicles? If so, I’ll be helping out every 3rd gen owner I know. ;)

Yes you can use it on any other tundra, as well as many other males and models. It's not tied to any specific vehicle.

This will connect to the wire that would be going into the fog, giving you a split connection. You can get away with just that splitter, and cut one connection off and wire directly to the amber marker wires.

Just to note, the green wire on the OEM connection is positive, white will be ground. You can only plug the actual fog light connection in one direction, so plug the splitter in accordingly.

I didn’t want to cut the splitter, so I just bought this to cut that connection off, and added an in-line fuse to make myself feel better lol. Not necessary, IMO. But with everything costing ~$25, I said why not.

My truck is getting PPf’ed as I type this, so I can’t get pictures now. But I can when I get it back next week, if you still had questions.

Had big plans to lift and swap out wheels and tires. Saw the dealer owners truck and liked the look. Put the caliper covers on, swapped out the center caps and put the tires on-I like the look. Had a lift kit ordered and cancelled since it will live in my garage and with the 35's and the auto steps it works for me.

Did you need to install bed stiffeners? I know they make them for the Tacomas, not sure about Tundras.

Now that a few owners have went with the Beat Sonic amp and had some time to experience the difference I have a question:

I'm sure folks were looking for better sound but are you really happy with the end result? I'm not trying to knock the amp, but want to justify if its worth it. Or do you think you will look for more volume/bump by installing a more powerful sub amp/door speakers setup?

Got mine a couple of weeks ago. Easy install. I went through many reviews, which were positive, before I pulled the trigger. What I will say is that I don't think I need anymore power-amp definitely works. Some of the reviews I read thought that it increased clarity but I am not sure that is the case-maybe its me. Does it sound good-I think so (best stock system that I have had). They, Beat Sonic, I think don't recommend changing or upgrading speakers (?) but think if you wanted to you could and probably enhance the "clarity". I am standing pat on this one for now (not changing speakers). I think this an easy do it yourself mod that does exactly what is advertised and keeps me from spending a lot more on modifying the entire system. My 2 cents.

Thank you @Hunter1699 - I prefer a little bump in the stereo setup and Toyota's volume level stinks on these JBL systems. I may go with Beat Sonic amp then add an external amp and sub bypassing the factory amp and sub. Appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.

Took it in to get my 2nd key fob, brake ECU, and label recall done. My dealership still didn't have a clue on when the temp fix for the fuel line recall would be there, which was no surprise.

Great to hear. Im getting mine delivered next week. Hoping to get some clarity, more vocals, and tad more bass out of the back. Currently back sub sounds like it's off. That should hold me over until there is a harness setup for the JBL 2023 tundra then I'll do the full system.
