Is the 3rd Gen Sequoia's 3rd row / trunk really that bad?

Was it for miswired headlights? 15 minutes you've been robbed, I did it in like 5 minutes one side and 2 minutes the other. Demand two cans of beer back!

Some simple booster seats use the latch anchors to keep the seat from becoming a projectile when not in use during an accident.

This was hilarious. I suffer your same issue but my 5 kids are spaced further in age.
So far, a 4Runner with 3rd row has worked for us. Trick was finding carseats and boosters in a size that we could arrange them in a way that would work. For a year maybe the 2 sitting in 3rd row climbed in from the cargo hatch to get in. Lol.

Recently we had to get a couple new car seats for the back so my 3 and 4 year olds' seats can fit as well as my 7 year old's booster. We're good now.
I didn't want to do the climb over scenario to avoid muddy shoes or something slinging across the head liner. Cuz I know my kids would do somersaults over the seat if I gave them the option/opportunity

Yeah, cargo area is ridiculous IMO. My daughter has two 2019's that do animal rescues, they can load 26 dog crates behind the first row. The second 2019 is for transporting the volunteer vets that do spay and neuter clinics where nobody else will go and still have room for crates behind the second row. I've shown her pics of the cargo area in the 3G and she vetoed that instantly. Maybe works for some people that don't value cargo volume and ease of loading. Sales are poor.

Just not a good design, went backwards from the 2G. Also lost the great fulltime 4WD and rolldown rear window. We're looking at another 2G to replace an ageing RWD Chevy Express, they hate that in winter. Been looking at AWD Siennas also. Used prices are not much below new MSRP and they sell quickly here.

Wonder how many GX 550 3 row sales will be because the Sequoia storage is meh?

The cargo area is roughly the same, but GX doesn't have that ridiculous tiered platform like the 3G Sequoia. The big deal to me would be the GX has the sweet fulltime 4WD Torsen center diff. I know some people say they can live without it, but I love it. So nice to go into 4HI and drive from Colorado to Utah without jacking around reading road conditions in winter.
