Got our 21 Seqouia lunar rock pro a few weeks back and figured I’d start a build thread for it. Sold our 22 hybrid tundra a few weeks prior- needed a more reliable, family friendly rig to haul 2 kids, wife and our lab around.

Day 1- pulled dash apart to wire in our baby monitor ($27 Amazon special) and my escort radar detector. Everything fit perfectly in the left cubby hole. Used a blend tech mount from my 22 tundra for the Seqouia and worked great.

Installed switch pros panel into the shifter cubby hole

weathertech floor liner HP all around

1/2/24- Maxxis Razr 285/75/18 (35x11.5) tires showed up- got these for $380 shipped due to an error on Walmarts website Christmas Day. Picked up a set of 1.25in spidertrax wheel spacers for $60 locally to add on. Waiting on my westcott TRD pro kit to add on (ordered 4 weeks ago and still hasn’t shipped). Firestone airbags going on at the same time

Test fitting the Randy Ellis Sleekster lightbar kit once they get it powder coated for Seqouia usage- will wire up my LP6’s and Xl80’s both in amber to that.

squadron pros on ditch light brackets sitting in the garage

HT Tuning 1.75ib clamps with @Baja Designs squadron pro angle flush angle mounts on the sides- sitting in garage waiting for time to install

    future state:
Yakima/ Thule rocket box and Yakima double haul fly rod holder- sitting in the yard

    Bronze @SCSPerformance F5 wheels

Once we rip the front clip off off road (or wife hits something) we’ll do a bumper or possibly the tundra 2.5g front end swap with a bumper.

    rear bumper with swing out

When the stock shocks blow I’ll swap in Icons or Kings with Dobinsons coils

Sub'd. Great color. And a steal on the tires.

Whipped up a ghetto switchpros controller mount today in about 30 minutes. Ideal came to mind while at home depot with my 3 year old on Sunday. Need to get some shorter bolts for the wing nut attachment. Used a yeti cooler divider tray as the base and bolted everything straight to that with nylon spacers for the bolts.

Never posted the switch pros controller mount. Frac harness is in hand, westcott hopefully shipped and getting installed next week with airbags, camburg UCA’s, wheel spacers and tires!

I guess i missed this build thread.
First, nice score on the tires!
Second, which Westcott kit did you order and why?

I been tossing the idea of getting a mild lift. I seen Westcott's Lift for the sequoia and i considered it. The next tires I get are 33's, so I can clear easily according to their webside (says you can run a 34" with a 295/70R18 without chopping). Hoping you are ordering something to clear those 35s

She's in the shop as we speak getting the Camburg UCA's, westcott kit, airbags, f&r sway bars, tires and spacers installed. Unfortunately wont get her back till tomorrow. I went with the front and rear westcott kit for the 20-22 trd pro. It wont ride like stock, but it shouldn't be too bad.. i hope. Ill eventually put icons or kings on it, I went westcott since it is the best designed spacer lift out there and usually they ride a better than a straight up spacer. I chatted with Jeff and the 285/75/18 is only .57in taller than the 295 but it is narrower by .39. The width is what makes tires usually rub the cab mount on the tundra's and sequoia's. I already pulled off the front and rear mudflaps and if need be I can modify the front plastics to prevent rub, super easy.

Got a link to the Wescott kit you ordered?
According to the site I linked above, they claim that it doesn't affect your ride or anything else like that at all and it's not really a spacer lift. Not sure about not being a spacer lift since it pretty much is haha. Curious about how the new UCA's will affect it. I'll definitely keep an eye in here to hear about the ride and all.
I've got a '21 pro sequoia as well, so it's nice go see others with them do things for me to take notes on.
How many miles are on yours?

Btw, not sure if you've posted in the LR thread yet since you've recently gotten yours.

Yep! I had Naylor Auto do it, they are all x Peterson guys and good buddies. Their labor is pricey, but I know it’s done right.

flying home in a few and picking her up once I land, stoked!

285/75/18 so taller and narrower, I’ll ask the guys on Monday what they had to do to get no rub!

Randy Ellis Lightbar fits like a champ on the Seqouia, no issue with radar cruise control. I’ll run this till I hit something and get a real bumper.

Hoping to get my LP6’s and XL 80’s assembled and on this weekend along with my squadron pros on ditch light brackets.

found a bunch of photos of bumper cuts front and rear on the tundra group and really want to knock those out, but my wife will kill me if she finds out

Forgot how much I hate the Gen2 tundra/ Seqouia firewall grommet. Fought it for an hour today hoping to start Frac and finally get the switch pros plugged in, but lost the fight and ordered a new fishing wire kit.

Man. Love this build. What’s the consensus on the spacers? I just did the dobinsons lift and am going crazy looking at wheels. I really just like my stock ones and want a wider stance. Been going back forth on spacers

Frac system finally installed, need to clip the white wire for front facing still. Super easy on the tree. Have the other Nikita camera and yota led mount, but it only showed my lights so switched to the license plate mount

How did those Camburg UCAs work out? I couldn’t get my tundra to align properly with a mild lift. The shops kept telling me that they had too much caster.

I am most likely going to have them tune my sequoia.

Naylor has done all my work on all my trucks the past 4 or 5 years (x Toyota and Lexus guys and amazing folks, but damn expensive- $160 an hour these days).

Bucks can suck it, those guys cranked my icon coilovers to the max and didn't install the diff drop I included with the rest of the parts. My cv blew and they told me it was my fault.... not cool.

I had a good experience with them and would definitely go back. I can't remember exactly the cost, but I think the front coilover install was somewhere around $420 with alignment.

Good to hear. I am thinking I'll have them install the TRD grille and a light bar and pod lights first, then if all goes well, when I'm ready to add a new suspension, have them do it.

I've never done any of it, and if I can get it for a decent price, I'd probably rather have them do it just to save time since I imagine it would take me a while. I'm really handy, but dealing with all those clips and things, I don't want to risk breaking one.

Hey Dexter - mind sharing how you installed the angel eyes and cyclones? I have both of them and am thinking about going into the trailer harness. Details are appreciated! Also, how do you keep the angel eyes from falling out since it's not snug w/ the cyclones.
