I have a '24 Tundra and it's my first ever truck so I there's still a lot that I don't know. I was trying to find a youtube video on how to "re-torque the propeller shaft bolts" since the scheduled maintenance calls for it every 15k miles. I was unable to find a video on how to do it for the 3rd gen, but I saw some videos on older Tundra's. Those videos also said there were 6 different spots that you need to "re-grease" with a grease gun every 10 or 15k miles. I don't see this listed in the scheduled maintenance for my truck. Is this not needed on the new gen Tundra?

Toyota doesn’t put zerks on bearings or joints anymore because people don’t keep up with the maintenance. It’s all sealed bearings.

There’s no grease fittings on the u-joint so regreasing is not possible unless you rebuild the joint and apply grease manually.

As for the retorque prop shaft bolts, No way am I going to loosen and retorque each bolt. I take a wrench underneath and make sure they are tight. Good enough for who it's for.

Most u-joints get replaced with sealed these days. Even most big rigs and heavy duty trucks get them. My experience in fleets has shown about equal life for each, and not having to maintain the sealed is a plus.
