I just purchased a 2013 sequoia platinum for my wife. Vehicle has been well maintained however has spent its life in Ohio. So regardless of the rust on the frame, I noticed the dip stick tube opening was rusted as to not allow the dip stick not to seat all the way down. I replaced the tube and changed the oil and filter. Everything went well except for when I replaced 7.9 quarts of oil it did not register on the stick. I checked the tube I replaced and it was good. So I added another quart and boom, oil showed up right smack in the middle of the dots. The handbook says 7.9 quarts including the filter so idk what this is about.
