Life is full of challenges. The key is navigating and surviving them. Unfortunately I’ll be late to my own party in April. I’ll land from out of country on Friday and have to rush around to get the camper up to the campsite. You 100% are welcome to come party with us! Sugarloaf campsite on Greers Ferry lake. Or Fairfield bay and we’ll come pick you up on the boat. Guarantee they’ll be some good food and plenty of beer.

I’m sensing we need a mid south FGT meet. Somewhere centralish and with some cool outdoor scenery.

I'm about to be working in the same area except I'm changing out a tensioner assembly, idler pulley, thermostat, thermostat gasket, coolant drain and fill.

Not into rock crawling my truck, trail rides would be cool. Great camping spots, not too close to civilization, not too far from an auto parts or beer store.

Tried to remove my PCV valve and unable to get it off. Is there a trick to removing it? Last time I recall just wiggling & pulling it straight up.

Your newer one is probably not as worn out as your old one. My old one almost fell out. Had to fish a piece out of the valve cover. New one took a lot of pressure to get back in. Pull harder me thinks

Does anyone know the part number of these harness clips? #1 Timing cover driver-side clamp has 15 over 19 stamped on the side. Missing #2 & #3 so the wires don't rub on the belt, found some damaged wires today

See if you see it HERE or HERE.

Those are technically for my AC 2006, but the grid should be same/similar for your DC 2006.

I mean, mine is screw-in. But I think some of the earlier ones were pop-in with a rubber grommet.

    Poll time. Would yall:
    A. Install an new head unit and front speakers, about $550

    Or

    B. Install a twin electric raidator fan kit, about $450 when all is said and done

Fan works just fine. And the head unit I have randomly just unprograms itself. Could be while parked, could be while usung you navigation in an area youre not familiar with, could be over night when the truck is off. Who knows your guess is a good as mine.

If you're not actively overheating, reliable quality sounding toons is always top priority.

no. You want electric fans spend that money on a beefy alternator. If you want good tunes do some sound deadening & a beefier alternator, and big cables, and expect me to bring my own truck places.

you wanna spend $500 rebuild the steering and brakes.

I'll add an electric conversion fan isn't really a fix for actively overheating unless you're in very specific circumstances and sure everything else is 100%. Harder on the alternator and I would want to figure out an alarm for if the fans fail. Clutch fan moves a ton of air.

Additional electric fan with switch on the Condensor frees up some horsepower when it's warm though, and is cheap and easy to do.
