Anyone use the slick mods window trim chrome delete wrap? Pros/Cons? I can't find it in myself to spend $350 on the actual black molding. Screenshot_20240311-091331.png

No but I used high quality black electrical tape and trimmed it with a sharp knife. You can buy it in different widths on Amazon. It looks amazing and lasts for years. I have done this in the past and never had it peel or fail. This precut vinyl wrap for $49 is a great idea. I would be interested to know how good it is and how well it covers all the chrome.

I was sort of wondering if anyone had ever tried (or thought of) just painting the pieces with a matte black. I just watched a video of a guy taking off the pieces, and they popped off easy enough. Seems like you could maybe just use a paint sprayer to do the job. And yes, I can hear some of you saying now, "Why don't you try it and report back?" lol. I guess, if anything, if it went horribly wrong they could be covered with an overlay (or electrical tape :)).

The paint probably won’t last long on the chrome. I just bought the trim covers from iron truss. They are stainless steel matte black. They also have gloss black and carbon fiiber. They cost $140.
