Welp, I messed up and got too rowdy in the snow and launched a mailbox with the tundra. Curious if anyone would recommend going through diy route for body repair or dish out the money for someone else to do it.

Pay someone to do it. That’s not in most folks DIY wheelhouse. Looks like you are going to be doing steel repair not just pull and paint.

Now, what kind of distance did you get with the mailbox??

I’d diy that all day and twice on Sunday but I’ve been a paint/body man for 17 years :) Simple repair if you’ve got a good shop nearby.

Depending on what a body shop would charge you, it might be just as easy to replace the fender on your own. You can get a new one already painted for less than a grand and maybe an hour or two to swap it out.
