Yeah finding takeoff wheels gets harder when you're looking for wheels for an odyssey. Marketplace is your friend. I'm assuming 5x114.3 but could be wrong. If that's right it's a pretty common size just gotta get the offset and stuff right.

Where do you keep all your wheels at anyway? Lol
I've got a few sets but they stay at my grandparents out my way and theirs in the back of a barn.

Wife is a bit cranky on this topic.

My Tacoma summers live under the wood burning stove (outside but protected from the rain). It's surprisingly not hot there, I guess because heat rises and the subfloor is halfway decent insulation? There's 6-8" of air buffer too.

My Tundra winter wheels are in boxes as I have no winter tires yet. The funds for Tundra Hakkas went to Odyssey hakkas. And my wife is still cranky that I didn't just buy one brand new tire and say f it. I couldn't do that, especially not at $220/each when I paid $167 each for the 4 of them. And we've since moved to the PNW where rain is an every day thing.

Then the 3 summer Odyssey takeoffs are stacked in the garage as of a few hours ago. I'm seriously thinking about a storage locker.

The plan is to demo this giant sized (500 sq ft?) deck which is slippery AF (no gaps between the deck boards so it's rotten and soaked and slick as a mofo from rain and ice and neglect) and then we'd have space for maybe a shed, maybe a trampoline, maybe a smaller deck, not sure.

There's also heaps of space under the smaller upper deck closer to the house where the firewood used to be, got that all cleaned out, but I'd want to get them a bit more off the ground to avoid temptation of rodents as was observed with the woodpile.

TLDR: Hoping to burn some of the tax refund $ on a shed but waiting for approval from the boss, may not be a possibility, especially not if I fill it with 20 wheels/tires? :)

Oh, and her Odyssey wheels are 18x7.5 5x120's w 45mm offset? They tend to be $$$ on eBay. I found a local Honda used wheel craiglister and stated my interest so hoping to get lucky there. He has some pilot wheels which are close and would work but the wife would not really be stoked on that.

There's also a dude on odyclub selling a set of 19's off his elite for 2200 w brand new tires but that's a lot of $ to drop on summers. Probably would be nice though.

Wife said she might want a subaru now that we're out of the stroller phase so even doing the brakes (pads were pretty good, rotors were fine, she just said she heard a squeak so I figured replace them cause the OEM parts are generally disliked) was a bit of a waste.

Honestly, though, this Odyssey is quite the useful vehicle. And now that it has snow tires it's arguably the best family hauler of all 4 of the rigs on our property. All it lacks is 4wd and ground clearance but fwd is a very decent second choice and with the snow tires I'd be fine taking it to the slopes since there's less than a mile of actual snow driving.

It's really just the ground clearance that bugs me, wish it were like 4" higher even though that'd hurt the MPG's.

Not sure I bothered posting here but I did get the new mirrors mounted and working. They have 6 way connectors so I had to de pin and re-pin the Oem side to match. Now I have to run the two extra leads for mirror heat to the kick panels, swap out window trim and replace the door latches. Then sound deadening and I can put the door panels back on. Mirror caps aren’t perfect but I like white over chrome a lot better.

It’s amusing that my parking spot is so visible from the kitchen window while watching aka washing dishes.

Yeah, I think they are rhodies but I don’t know my plants too well. I ripped out a bunch of other bushes for my parking spot. Destroy nature and park gas guzzling v8, that’s ‘merica, amiright?

Yesterday I replaced D and P window trim and D side latch. Today I hope to get the P side latch done and then I can do sound deadening in the doors. Also should run wire for mirror heat through the boot since I swapped to heated mirrors and probably should replace the door speakers while things are open.

Got my fender flares on this afternoon. Finally. Like 2 years after the fact. One less box of crap. Took a surprisingly long time. Wish they gave a full set of the inserts.

O2 sensors mostly out. Driver side upstream is loose but zip tied so I have to cut the tie to remove and I washed hands to break for food. Taking the skids off was a bit of work. But I think it should be smooth from here and I’ll leave skid reinstall for another day, gonna take her in for oil and maybe do the front diff while skids are off.

Extended my RS3000 grey antenna wire this afternoon. It was maybe 30-60 minutes of work as I spent some time making it all pretty and also cleaned up my microphone cable. Both route up the driver's A pillar, antenna coil sits in the headliner and mic is on the driver visor. Connected to the 9" or so stub out of the unit under the dash using 090IIU 1 position connectors. Turned terrible range into fantastic range, super happy with the results, well worth doing.

@daveeasa what shocks do you have in the rear of your truck? Am I correctly remembering that you have Fox 2.5 for a tacoma? I'm looking to install some on my truck and was trying to see if there was any issue with installation.

@Kimosabe , I originally purchased two sets of Fox 2.5 w remote resis for my ‘16 Tacoma and ‘02 Tundra from @memario1214 who confirmed with Fox that 2000-2006 Tundra uses the same rear shock as 2005-2023 Tacoma. Colton, if I’m misremembering, please correct me.

Before installing, I went a little loco and bought the whole archive garage setup including hammer hangers, crossmember, ubolt flip, and shock relocation. Still haven’t solved for axle wrap. Anyway, that setup requires longer shocks so I have fox 2.0’s on my Tundra because I don’t believe there is a 2.5 or 3.0 option at the proper length? I think I bought those direct from accutune and subsequently got my fronts redone with 700 lb coils and shocks revalved.

Oh and my fox 2.5 rears are on the Tacomas, had the ones for the ‘05 revalved for the lighter truck after a whole headache with the fronts from the initial install which got bungled.

Ironically, my ‘16 is the smoothest of the three trucks with off the shelf fox 2.5’s front and rear and a j66 pack.

Thanks. That's helpful. I went with the Fox 2.5 w/ resi and 8.4" travel so we'll see how those work. I don't have all the rear components you do. But again that makes me feel more confident in what I purchased.

I'm getting mine revalved by accutune as we speak. Hopefully that doesn't have a negative impact on the ride.

They had good advice for my tundra. Somehow I got questionable advice for my ‘05 RC Tacoma despite me weighing it and each axle independently. Ended up swapping 550’s to 500’s up front and I want to swap out my TC UCA’s for SPC.
