Replaced wheel bearing on 2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited 5.7l this year at 160k. I learned somethings and this forum and YouTube helped, but there were a couple items I wanted to share for the next person pursuing it. First, the wheel hub (spindle) is the same front and rear and left and right. This is good to know when you find that the rear “complete hub assembly (including the rear bearing)” is very difficult to acquire. However, the front complete hub assembly including the bearing (and the oil seal) are easy to find. I recommend OEM from Toyota. My point is, you can use your removed old front hub to pair with a new rear bearing (and oil seal) to create a complete assembly. You need access to a press or service shop to remove and pair (press) the parts. Second, if you are lucky then you can hammer the axle shaft away from the complete hub assembly during disassembly. If you are unlucky on the last one, and feeling confident after three successful wheel bearing replacements, you might accidentally hose up the threads on the axle nut and axle shaft, because the right rear shaft and bearing where rust welded together. I recommend a 10 ton hydraulic puller from HF or Amazon to get the two separated. Finally, you need a M32 x 1.5 hex die to repair the axle shaft threads. Also, get a new axle nut, both are available on Amazon. I experienced a lot of down time waiting for parts, returning wrong size parts and reordering parts. I hope this helps the next brave sole.
