Has anyone installed led lights underneath the cover on a 2020 Tundra crewmax?

You have lots of options depending on if you want them mounted to the bed or to the cover.

These are hard wired and have a switch, and seams to be a popular option for mounting to the bed.
You can search Tundras.com for more first hand info on these.

These are options if you want to mount to the cover. Wireless and easy to install, but you may need 2 depending on what your goal is.

I personally use 2 of these since I do not typically get in the bed at night, but have them just in case.
They are rechargeable and I can use them for other uses when not needed in the truck. They are inexpensive as well.

You probably could but it may not be hot all the time.

Those are the ones I used and I'm very happy with them. SO nice to be able to just hit the switch and see what I'm doing without futzing with flashlights.

Fortunately for me I had already run power into the bed for a 12V/USB receptacle so I just tapped into that. It's direct to the battery and constant hot. I wanted to be able to plug in or turn on whatever without needing to turn on running lights or anything.
I think anything existing you'd tap into would need to be energized by another switch in the cab.

Some people in the reviews complain about the adhesive on the Nilight LED strips but I've had no problems, just clean the mounting surface REALLY WELL with alcohol.

I mounted mine under the tonneau rail/flange. That 3-piece kit is a pretty good fit, a little extra wire between pieces but I just zip tied and tucked it up in the corners and you can't even see it.

The switch is mounted under the bed rail just behind the 12V receptacle.
