Bought a 2017 Tundra as is. It's in otherwise great condition with various superficial scratches that I'm sure can be buffed out. But I need some advice on this awful gouge. It's on the passenger side rear door. Any ideas or suggestions on how to get that taken care of without costing me an arm and a leg?20240517_162258.jpg

Dr. ColorChip has worked very well for me in the past; not sure it can hide that whole thing but it will definitely make it look better.

That looks like MGM color. Just as an FYI---there are about 5 shades of MGM toyota has used. If you are going to repaint anything, MAKE SURE, you are choosing the correct one.

Our local toyota dealer had a example of all the types and brought my truck into some bright sun to make sure it was the right match.

I hope that buffs out, I just put something similar into my bumper.:fingerscrossed:

The other ones I see can be easily buffed out. That big one is going to require a repaint though. Unfortunately there’s really no cheap option that you’re going to be happy with.

When you remove the sharp edges it will be mostly invisible.
