Personally I'm not a fan of grill badging. Kinda distracts from the natural looks of the car. I feel like a single red squiggly looking S after the Z3 would look cool, and make people wonder what it's about

I removed the grille badge, I took a drive this morning, and the car is a beast & joy to drive, the only issue is the passenger side suspension is squeaking, I have picked it up 5x verified nothing is loose, cannot localize the noise.

Hey man love your build thread ! I think it was like 2 years ago but do you still have the part numbers for the transmission thermostat and lines for the tundra transmission cooler upgrade that you did?

Lines I just did hoses, I later got the metal lines from a dealer, they are on a shelf somewhere.

 

Thanks! Figured this is a necessary upgrade for pulling an rv up I-17 in the summer . Did yours have the atf cooler coil under the ac/ condenser originally . That’s what my ‘12 has currently…

Curious to see how well it works for you! I've only seen videos of them being used.

 

1 is at the differential side of the driver lower control arm pivot, 2 at the outside, 3 at the shock. 4 is at the inner side of the pass lower control arm, 5 is at the differential side of the passenger lower control arm.

It's helpful, I thought the bulk was on the passenger side.

That seemed pretty definitive! Have you swapped the sensors around to see if the noise follows the sensor or the part?

Fittings came, I need to figure out where to put it.

 

Drove the BMW in 110 degrees to the pool store a mile away, temp elevated slightly so I opened the hood & the lever was super hot because the filter for the SC oil landed right under it so I stole a page from Rey's book. & while I was there.....

Those high rpm bmw engine bays get pretty hot! You're gonna need a vented hood soon! I haven't been able to drive my m3 since March:-(

Talked to the shop yesterday, dropping the tree off to have the 2.2 SC pulley, Mishimoto radiator, 160 degree thermostat & silicon hoses Toyota red & the downpipes installed at 8:30.

 

It's dropped. the original master key, that worked after the computer swap is not starting the truck, had to go back in the BMW with keys, the valet works. WTF? Also, after starting with the valet key, the old master started it but it died in a few seconds.

I'll have to reprogram it when I get the truck back.

Apparently, I forgot to post this yesterday...

Got it back, only the radiator & cooling parts in, he had an emergency after wasting an hour not getting the 2.3 pulley off. Said it is too small for the puller I got the original off with & he broke his puller trying.

I'll bring the truck back Saturday for the cats.

It was idling for 20 minutes before I left, running almost 20 degrees cooler, the thermostat that was there looked new.

 

This happened....

Dishwasher feed hose broke, entire sink/cabinet/bar area has to be demoed, new quartz counter tops & some kind of nicer cabinets will be installed.







So mush gaaaaa

Appliance repair needs to replace the dishwasher feed hose, I asked the guy 3x + to leave it accessible.




Salesman said they will bring a temp sink, kid said do you want a sink.





Kid was shocked when my response to the machines need to be on 24 7 was not happening I need sleep

 

OMFG!!! noise canceling headphones are amazing! I turned on the noise cancelation & it was like the machines left!!!

I was using them to hear the TV as it had to be sooooo fucking loud otherwise & had to turn the volume on the headphones down after turning noise cancellation on.

 

Cats are in! Moar powa! Sounds rowdy!

I had never seen north of 9lbs over 90 degrees, it's 111!

I have 1/4 tank, gassed it turning left, had the starvation & sounded like several M16s! lol

 

Owner of the shop gave me the best compliment, said before I sell the Tree to anyone else let him know.

 

Picked my Wife up from the airport. On the way the AC stopped blowing cold. Went to the shop, compressor died, 1200 to replace everything I can't get a break

 

Went to pick up the tree, paid 1200, drove 1/2 a block air stopped blowing cold, AC light started flashing. Returned, they said the new compressor was seized.

Hopefully, I get it back tomorrow.

 

Got the tree back, crisis averted.

While it was in the air I was looking around, found my exhaust was cracked. They welded it.
