I had them do the fuel line recall, fix my door card (broke the clips replacing the external door handle) and oil change. 34 for clips. 175 to verify and install them lmao.

I flew from Florida to buy my limited trd OR hybrid there. They had a $9000 off sign on a red truck when I went to pick mine up. Got $8,500 off myself pre negotiated. You can probably get 5k off the PRO.

“Hybrid malfunction” 12 volts charging malfunction. Who knows. Second time, last time was the hybrid inverter.

Sorry to hear that. How did they get the truck on the flatbed? Did you install the AFE front tow hooks (I see you put hooks on the back), or did they use another point on the truck to winch it up?

Yep, been here since 2010. Small world. Im on the water north of the causeway. Traffic isn’t what you’d remember and the heat is something else. It’ll be a big city in 20 years so I’ll be heading a few hours north by then.

On topic: finally got around to registering the new truck and ordered my first vanity plate.

I ended up having a truck worth more than my Tundra, increase in value was about equal to the cash difference that I paid! Financially it was not a bad deal and we have trips planned so I couldn’t keep the Tundra.

Today, Silver Bullet and I went to Qdoba for lunch. In the corner of the parking lot sat a 3rd Gen in white, and I smiled as I found another best friend I’ve never met. Then…

I noticed the flatbed tow truck just beside the lot. I instantly worried our new friend had met his end, and then wondered if I was the one being followed! Are tow trucks taunting us?

Alas, after I finished stuffing my face I walked outside and found the real culprit. A new F150 that couldn’t make it out of the car wash vacuum bay.

Great looking topper, gotta ask, what did it cost you? Did you have to get it color matched or did it come that way?

Installed a cost effective bed cover as I will not pay $1000 plus for one anymore. F U FORD!

Got it off of Amazon $450. Includes $40 off.
Looks good, alittle finesse here and there to get the tail gate to open as I have never used this type.

Coat hanger won't open it either........will see how much better it is when it rains, and the MF weather man keeps saying it will.......

Nice! Let us know how it holds up. I went with BakFlip MX4—mostly because I knew the brand, and they had one for a 6'5" bed. I'm using it so far and it works well—no complaints—but after some time with it, I think I would probably be fine with something cheaper.

Thanks. After my past POS started having issues I had to sell the something Flex cover on it only being 4/5 yrs old and the seals were conditioned every spring, I literally couldn't give it away. I finally asked a co worker if he would just take it or it's going in the dumpster (he gave me $100) a year later his POS f150 dumped the transmission.......he drives a Ram now.

Just about $5k - comes color matched and with keyless. About the only options are the front window and rails up top.

    Just starting
Did the Rough Country 2" Leveling kit. Very easy to install. If you have the right tools. I didn't.

I made sure to read the listing of tools. Common stuff anyone should have. So I started disassembly. Then I got down into the instructions where it told me to use a tool (spring compressor) that was NOT in the list of tools. And now my truck is torn apart so I can't go anywhere to get one. F'n long breaker bar, BFH, and some brute force but it got it reinstalled. Alignment is WAY off (steering wheel pointing to 1o'clock now), but appointment is set for Tuesday.

Final Stance. Looks MUCH better without the rake. It should come this way stock.: 20240622_152542[1].jpg

Did a tire rotation and inspected the rear parking brake motor to plan out how the hell I will do the rear brakes in the future.

Installed the Eibach Pro-Truck lift on my CM TRD OR. Ride is very nice, you can choose to lift the front 2.5 and leave about an inch of rake, or 3.1 and level it. I went with the rake since I tow a boat. Front fender flare still missing from hit and run!

Swapped in the TRD lift kit UCAs while we were working as well. All in about $1400.

I spent a half hour cleaning and conditioning the leather in my 1794 Limited Edition yesterday, taking it to the local Toyota dealer today to have the State Inspection done and it's first oil change at 780+ miles.
