The remote line is connected through a T-harness which isn't plugged in yet. I didn't have time to finish the job yesterday. Power comes through firewall "nipple" on the left side of drivers footwell, ground is chassis grounded under passenger seat where amps are. Currently non-jbl amp is bypassed through a loop harness, new 4ch amp is wired into power/ground but not radio. OBD code reader found no codes dealing with anything brake related... (Coincidentally it did tell me that I left the gas pedal unplugged and fixed that... Doh.)

Bought the lease out last week, feels great getting that done.
Today, finally getting around to sound deadening the front doors, I did the rears probably two years ago. I don't have a system, and listen to FM radio, so I am not doing speakers, just the deadening and fast rings around the 6x9's. It's more for road noise, and the sound when I close the doors, nothing more satisfying than that heavy clunk. Don't think I'll ever get to the roof, or the full floor done, although the floor is much more likely. Of course as I get it about 80% done, it starts raining three hours early. Should have a break soon to finish up.

It is an Amazon bar. I had a light bar in the bulge, but it was terrible with the mods and 18-wheelers kept ripping my bulges off the truck so I went back to stock and installed this beast.

    This lightbar is unbelievably bright.

4000 mile round trip in 9 days. Avg 13.6mpg with speeds between 75-80mph. Radar cruise is the greatest thing ever. Now to install the meso volume control fix and sdp exhaust on Wednesday before a small 200 mile road trip Thursday.

Did my first DIY oil change in a year or so. Finally installed the Fumoto that's been in a drawer for over a year.

I really need to get a skid with access to the filter and drain plug!

Front and rear dash cam installed. Someone rear-ended me last week, crumpled one side of the bumper and into the rear fender. He said I pulled over and within 5 seconds slammed my brakes. It was longer than that, but I did slam my brakes for geese in the road. Another driver stopped, got my info, and sent her dash cam footage to me. Shows the time elapsed, the geese, and that he was doing 15-20 over the speed limit and didn't apply brakes till within a couple car lengths. So useful, decided to pull the trigger on it.

I had that exact cam I think - sent it back within a week. In order to have this thing connect to your phone, you can't have anything else connected to your phone via WiFi. So if you have an aftermarket radio/head unit like I do, you're SOL. If it doesn't connect, you will not be able to use the app - meaning you won't have access to any videos unless you remove the SD card to watch them.

Note: I wish the rearview mirror port was hot without the key in ACC - the parking lot mode won't work when using it.

I don't have the space for another printer and don't want to try selling the Prusa. I'll probably just upgrade it, and anticipate that they get the firmware for the Mark4 sorted out sooner than later.

Yeah but it'd be super convenient to not have to run more wire when you have a power port in proximity like that.

Ugh...I'm good so far, I use Bluetooth (limited function) or USB-C to connect to my stereo...hope to upgrade to something that sounds better and is BT full function, but budget says I need to wait on that.

Ive been on that path with my original Ender 3 for a long while. It now has the sprite head, latest custom klipper, and runs off an octoprint Pi in a home built enclosure (lack table with leg extensions. Kits are all over thingiverse). And numerous other mods along the way or not listed.

Then I see the time prints take on that bamboo, along with quality level right out of the box, and damn. It makes me think, the 500 bucks and dozens of hours I have into over years, I should just spend 600 and grab a bamboo instead of putting more hours and money into this thing. I will still have this one to futz with. I'll move it to the garage to tinker if I go the Bamboo route.

That is with the AMS. Bamboo itself sells the printer for 600 without the AMS, 850 with the AMS. You dont need the AMS, its a nice to have.

Haven't posted in this thread for a bit but just installed my Stillen CAI yesterday n took her for a drive around the block. The noticable difference is minimal as far as sound. Performance does seem to take a step up slightly. I got the oiled version but I don't want to put any oil filter on my Tundra so I bought the AFE dry filter plus the pre filter to wrap around it. So far I'm happy with it.
    20240701_141134.jpg

Question for anyone running this CAI... Were you able to keep your TRD air accelerator? If so, did you have to modify it?
