Is there an active dealership parts guy on here that can price out OEM parts and ship them? Thanks

 

Best bet is to wait for holiday sales on Toyotas main parts site. Last one was Memorial Day parts and accessories 20% off. Next sales should be around Fourth of July.

best bet is to just find the part# online and get your local dealers to pricematch online vendors. Maybe @ryangregg can help?

Uh no. He's gone. Everything worthwhile pretty much got deleted from the site because when they deleted him, they deleted all his threads and his posts. Shortcoming of the forum software. Just so long as the advertising bucks keep coming in and no one has to spend $$$ on lawyers telling other lawyers to get stuffed.

PS....I think Toyota has bigger problems than Ryan keeping Tundra owners informed and educated and buying parts. IMHO, Ryan probably made Toyota more $$$ with his posts than he supposedly is perceived to have cost them.

Back to the OP- I found that some dealerships have deep discounts year round and free shipping. found a couple I usually check and price out. serra toyota of decatur alabama is one that usually comes in at the cheapest. all my local dealers charge list and don't price match.

I remember there was a guy named Roman. He worked at Toyota of Cool Springs.
He was the go-to guy that everyone always asked questions about parts, etc.
Toyota of Cool Springs is in the Vendor list. Check it out.

 

If you’re buying a good amount you really want to order them yourself online from your dealers parts dept for will-call pickup. Parts are 40-50% off vs. walking up to the counter and asking the parts people to look them up. They charge full retail every time you just walk in and try to buy.

 

I reached out and rec'd no reply.

I did find something strange (to me). I called for a part. The dealer gave me a price and said he could order it and it wasn’t in stock. I called a second dealer. The price was different. Same with the third. I went down to the cheaper dealer and mentioned the price was high and if he could offer me any discount. He did.
